What does x think about this book?

I really liked the explorations sequences.. especially the small bits of implied lore regarding the house. Like
the material that makes up the walls gets older the deeper you go, and eventually older than the earth itself, and the bit about the explorers finding the spiral staircase in the woods which then they promptly disappear.
I get the house is supposed to be a metaphor or whatever but it was those bits of added context that added a whole lot of mystery and character to it for me. I read the books alongside the release of the backrooms movie so it just added onto this experience. Anyways what is your thoughts on this liminal masterpiece?

I legitimately do not like this guy's writing style. I bought his book on the poetry of space and I threw it away. There's something off about it.

It's cool seeing people do adventurous stuff in literature. This author happens to be really annoying for me.
