This isn't meant to be 4chan youtube content slop material, I'm genuinely curious to know if I'm alone or not and posting here seems like it'd get me a response.I don't believe in cursed videos. If there was a video that killed people, it wouldn't be sitting there on youtube for all to see. That said, wpkepkw is the only one of these videos to actually have any sort of effect on me.I'm kind of a paranoid person, but it's only to the extent of not wanting to go downstairs when it's 2 in the morning or if I've been watching/reading about scary stuff all day. The latter is a pretty common occurrence, I've been obsessed with creepypastas and the paranormal (rituals, sightings, etc.) since I was young. I have horrible memory, I'm going to assume I first heard of wpkepkw from either an iceberg video or a scaretheater video, that isn't that important. I then watched that one video that someone uploaded where they watch wpkepkw and the image flashes on their screen multiple times afterwards (fake lol). It wasn't scary in the slightest, so obviously I didn't take it very seriously. I went to watch the original video, not really expecting anything. Unfortunately for me, what followed was about 2 weeks of horrendous, nauseating paranoia. It was such an awful feeling, and I'd just be doing random things throughout the day then suddenly be afraid of looking out the window or being alone in my room. What concerns me is that I didn't have any emotional investment in this video at all whatsoever when I watched it, but it affected me in such a visceral way that I don't think I can watch it again, even though the contents of the video aren't frightening in the slightest. It's the only video that I truly believe has something wrong with it.Has anyone else ever experienced this with any of these "cursed videos" ? Again, the severity and length of this paranoia far surpassed any temporary bouts I've had at night after simply indulging in scary stuff throughout that day.
Bumping because this is the kind of thread theme I live for
I believe some songs when played in reverse sound pretty "cursed"https://youtu.be/WLsLu05YXiAiNszirfxmuPIObPX2

>>42623786Not with cursed videos, and it was very brief, but to me it was this one time when I binged alien content when I was a kid. I was pretty used to creepy stuff etc, as well, but for some reason that one time hit me pretty bad. I remember feeling really tense and paranoid walking down the street in broad daylight, but luckily the feeling only lasted a day. This was back when i was a kid, but I still generally avoid that content these days. It's fun, but I know I'm susceptible to letting my imagination run wild, so I'd rather just not go through the trouble.
>>42623786I think cursed videos are real in the sense that they can provoke a physiological reaction or unwanted behavioural change. For proof, just look at what porn or gore does to some: addictions, moral decline, desensitization, etc. There’s a reason people are so mentally ill these days.Though I don’t really buy into The Ring tier curse videos.
Coworker was telling me about this movie he watched. The theme was that there was this Asian demon who got attached to anyone who read/said the code phrase. I think it was Latin or something. The plot of the movie is that if enough ppl say it, the demon will be so spread out it won't really effect anyone.Anyway, at the point in the movie where they say the code phrase, my coworker said all the lights in his house went out and it really freaked his family out. Ever since then he has been very Christian.
>>42623786Isn’t that just an image of Hitler?
>>42625752Similar thing happened to me during Devil's Advocate. Something anchored on the wall in the other room came down. Freaked me out.
