Hey is there anyone here who still trying the way of the pebbles?
>>
>>42650832
Is there anyone who turned into wizard?
>>
>>42650832
was it the guy who said he practiced a magical path with a greek sounding name, and said the first step was to choose a pebble, hold it in your hand and try to become one with its nature or something?
did anyone try his method?
>>
>>42651154
yes he also said it was his family secret. they all started to do magic by holding pebbles in their hands from childhood.

he said the pebbles werent anything special. anything would do.

I remember this, but I never tried. '-_-
>>
I may try this tomorrow. I will try to find a nice pebble and see if I can produce results.

if you bring the special pebbles in, they become poofy and grow bigger. and sometimes they spontaneously crack themselves without being touched necessarily, but the part doesn't pop off until a few weeks later.
>>
>>42652982
>the special pebbles
Although his family picked pebbles with stories that somewhat special for them personally,
he was clearly stated that, pebbles themselves were no different than ordinary rocks.
>>
hellllloooooooooo
>>
>>42650832
Yah, I tried this pretty hard core for a good while. but I have to stop periodically. I think I have difficulty grounding or something, because I keep getting undesirable mental sides.
Pebble-kun warned about this, but I never really understood what grounding means, or how to do it effectively...
>>
>>42654297
>what grounding means
Maybe it is something like the things you carry on yourself in inception movie.
Not a literal object but an universal truth for yourself to not lost your way.
Anchoring yourself into real common reality?
>>
>>42651190
I remember his thread, although i think there were 2 threads, pretty sure it wouldn't hard to find it in 4plebs through keywords, he was always talking about some paths he called "hodo" or "hodos" don't remember. It was a pretty entertaining reading but i never practiced anything. Also he said that some used water instead of a pebble, that it could be anything but the object changed how the user did their "magic" or something. At least that's what i remember.

>pebbles themselves were no different than ordinary rocks.
i can tell you right now, this is disinfo and obfuscation. "rocks" are just compressed hard minerals. there's something else in the dirt, in the really hard sandy clay dirt. in fact there's a bunch of different things. and no one tells you about them, but if you go searchig for hours you can piece a few clues together.
>>
>>42655196
I hate star wars, I needed to google to find the name but are you saying something like "midichlorians"?

Also I don't like this diviation from original lore :D
I just want to learn if people tried it.
>>
>>42655222
Why don't you try it yourself or if you have post your experience and tips to get the ball rolling.
>>
>>42655432
I have too much in my head right now.
AI made programming way much easier but so much faster that amount of engineering decisions per day got pretty high. Amount of information one needs to process got higher.

My brain is mushy :D Cannot focus on a rock. Need to know if it works first.
>>
>>42655481
Read his thread to decide
>>
>>42654297
Grounding is a common term in occultism in general, the meditative parts mainly. It basically means to bring back your mind into your body and the present moment.
>>
>>42655526
I remember his thread, his suggestions were quite consistent and had a logic for itself.
The reason I made this thread is
maybe we would stumble upon an anon that had a progress.
>>
>>42654452
>>42656694
I dunno guys, maybe this is it. I try and approach with a fully open mind, questioning everything. But then ofc I start to unravel.
i will continue , and if someone wants to start a group on matrix or whatever I'd be interested.
>>
>>42656694
The thing with this idea is that meditation exacerbates the problem. I have to stop for a while in order to feel normal again. And this pebble stuff is just another form of meditation.
>>
>>42650832
Never heard of this, aside from the character from the Flintstones.
Do you remember the Pet Rock craze back in the 1970s?
>>
>>42656974
Well yes, the pebble guy said it resembles vipassana, although i see some differences, but it's a meditation still. And about your problem, my recommendation is to not stop and let it all "organize" itself, the scrambliness is normal when you start practicing meditation seriously, and in my experience the best way to deal with it is to not fight it and go deeper into it.
>>42656904
But you're looking for validation, not proof. Anyone here could lie. Because of this thread i've read the pebble guy's thread again. The framework seems pretty clear and so does the practical side, you either practice it or you don't, but i doubt you'll find what you're looking for in here, specially not nowadays.
>>
>>42657337
They did that guy dirty with the pebble nickname, considering he had answers for everything his framework is a lot bigger than that pebble exercise and i don’t think we got to read a fraction of it.
>>
Bump
>>
>>42657432
> just let go
easier said than done I'm afraid.
>>
>>42659270
It isn’t really, whatever you do when you reach that threshold, stop doing it.
>>
>>42659323
>stop paying your taxes
>>
>>42660327
The IRS isn’t gonna come after you for exploring a meditative state, you need to own it.
>>
>>42660343
Sorry bud, but there's a price to pay for everything. No taxes? Seizure of assets imminent.

Your argument of "just let go" doesn't hold up, and isn't universally applicable.
>>
>>42660363
This is how you advance in meditative practices, you encounter new states that throw you off and you adapt to them. Stop being dramatic. What the pebble guy means with grounding is getting lost in the recursion of what he calls hodoi. By the way you speak about your first roadblock in meditation i assure you your not even close to that.
>>
>>42660488
So how do I fix the people that have control over my life?
>>
>>42660543
Do they have any power over your practice? You don’t need to concern yourself with others when you practice something, unless they’re tormenting you 24/7.
>>
>>42660772
I'm being persecuted and oppressed, how do you fix that?
>>
>>42660488
You're not responding to who you think you are.

> By the way you speak about your first roadblock in meditation i assure you your not even close to that.

Showed your cards though.
>>
>>42660488
is pebbleanons family secret worth trying for someone who has a really nice rock in his pocket and has some experiencemeditating
i want to try accult but im a little slow so i want to start slow a pebble sounds nice. i can easily be one with a pebble
>>
>>42657337
>Pet Rock craze back in the 1970s?
that was soft discloooosure about silicon lifeforms, and notice how all the "rocks" chosen are poofy and smooth-edged in photos. it's a blind box thing but a few people scored fairly nice stones.
but rivers are a lame place to get the good ones. you need to dig in more unexpected places, with hard sandy dirt. that's where you can find the really good ones.
>>
Thinly veiled biboo thread
>>
>>42661864
Don’t make this about yourself, you’re all a bunch of attention and whores in this board, keep your spiralings for your discord cliques. This thread is for discussing the pebble guy shit.
>>
>>42662529
Mind you, it’ll go to page 10 because 98% of retards here use this board as a validation machine through larps. It’s extremely sad.
>>
>>42662410
Yeah, just try it. You basically know as much as anyone else here.
>>
>>42662529
There's nothing to talk about, that's the problem with these pebble threads. Maybe once every few days you might have something to say. Even then it's not going to be very meaningful.
>>
>>42662595
I don’t know what you’re talking about. He was asked about everything and he let some of his framework shine through with each answer. This is almost poetic, how someone shares a complex paradigm but people can only talk about a pebble.
>>
>>42662697
People like you are the problem.
>>
Hello, I am the op, what is going on? We can be friends.

>>42657432
>Anyone here could lie
Yes but we can reckon and have an estimate wheter they are saying the truth, like how we believed in the pebble anon.
based on what they are saying.
>>
>>42663194
I'm happy you made this thread. I guess we can try and encourage each other, but I kind of agree with >>42662595 in that there is nothing to say, unless someone has a breakthru.
>>
>>42654297
>but I never really understood what grounding means, or how to do it effectively...
It means to put your feet on the ground and not your head in the clouds
>>
Main problem with meditative practices is how people just cannot sit for more than 15~20 minutes, and that, realistically, does nothing for you. Sit for at the very least 1 hour or go home, people hate it when i say this.
