Why do you ask "What do I want it to be?" or "What should it be?" or "What is beneficial?" Is this not what Jesus meant when he said: "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

How can you expect to receive "what is" when you ask "what do I want it to be?" Instead, shape what you want it to be according to what is. This is what a person who wants truth does.

As he asks "what do you want it to be?", he told Jesus: "All this I will give you."

As he asks "what should it be?", he told Jesus: "Throw yourself down."

As he asks "what is beneficial?", he told Jesus: "Tell these stones to become bread."

Did Jesus worship him, or throw himself down, or tell the stones to become bread? No. He was faithful to what is.

There's no belief that is better than the truth.

Some of you might wonder why am I saying, "The mind has to be the Foundation of the World." I am saying this because if it isn't, nihilism is true, and what I am saying to you doesn't matter to begin with. It is just noise in a void without meaning, value, or purpose. There is no right or wrong, no justice.

Notice: if this is the alternative to that mind, what do you lose by living as if that mind exists? It is better for you to hope and trust that this mind exists than to conclude it doesn't. It is asymmetric. You need to know what it means if there is no God, and only then will you have the full courage to proclaim that all your hope rests on Him.

Because, what is there to fear? Do you realize what I am telling you? It doesn't matter which one the answer is, fear dies.

If nihilism is true, what is there to fear? Fear is based on loss. Fear of losing your life, or fear of losing possessions, or fear of losing opportunities. All fear is based on loss. Now, if nihilism is true, what is there to fear when there is nothing to lose?

And if nihilism is not true, what is there to fear if the foundation of the World is mind? This means the foundation of the World is living. And if you put your trust in this mind, and do according to what is, you will live even though you die.

To be faithful to God is to be faithful to truth. God is truth, and you must worship God in truth.

Jesus came to the World to show what God is. The death on the cross wasn't just for your sins. The death on the cross is the symbol for God's sacrifice. For you to have life, God must give you life. This is the foundation of the World, and Jesus lived it. That is why I know He is the truth.

Suppose you could say you stand in front of a mirror. The image in the mirror is you, but you're not the image in the mirror. So it is with Jesus and I am. I am is the foundation. Jesus was a human who made I am known.

The essence cannot be in direct contact with the expression. This is why "no one has seen God." The essence has to make Himself known through the expression. Jesus was that expression.

"This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God."

The world reflects his Word, yet people remain blind to it. Look at the sky, what do you see? Is not the sun the light source, and does not the moon reflect the source's light? If you look at the sun, you will become blind. As I told you, the expression cannot be in contact with the essence. Instead, you look at the moon, and by looking at the moon, you can see the sun's light. So it is with Jesus and I am: the Father shines, and the Son reflects his light, and through this makes the Father known.

Open your eyes, and you will see what was hidden. It is not merely the Son who reflects his light; you are called to reflect his light. This is how he makes himself known. When you do what is true and you live according to what is, you reflect his light.

Even now, I know that the Father has all in his hand. The one who needs to see what I am saying will see it and understand. Give praise to him. When you do what is right, you give praise to him through what you do.

This is the kind of person God seeks. The reason the little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven is because the little child doesn't ask, "What do I want?" He asks, "What is?" Always ask what is, and you will know what is, and he will reveal himself to you when you love truth.

Sin is not evil because God said "this is evil"; sin is evil because sin is misalignment with what is. Sin is when you do what you want to do, or what you think should be, or what is beneficial, instead of doing what is. This is why he says, "Return to me." Return from what? From misalignment. If God is consistent, then your way of worship must be consistency. Is this not what Jesus meant when he said, "All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one"? Or, "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye"? Or, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins"?

Do not apply what you want it to be to yourself or to others; instead, apply what is to both yourself and to others. Only then will you be able to judge correctly. But even then, trust your father and leave all judgment to him. You will ask me, "What happened in Eden?" I'll tell you what happened in Eden: "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it." She chose what she wanted, how it should be, and what is beneficial over what is. Sin is to do what is not. To sin is to be misaligned with the father. To return to father is to do what is: love each other, speak the truth, be merciful, love justice, always forgive, and give without limit. When you do this, you're like your father in heaven, and by doing these things you are aligned with your father. You will be imperfect. This is why he came down. No sacrifice was enough but the one who did all this. Only the one who lived up to what is was enough. Receive payment freely and sin no more.

It is said, "In the image of God He created them." Is this not what I’ve told you? You are that image, but how can the image be seen when obscured by dust? Instead, wipe away the dust, and the image will be clear.

Some will say, "Take away the image and throw it in the fire." These things must take place, as He said, "If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also."

Others will say, "Who is it that painted an image so beautiful?" Just like He said, "If they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours also."

But when they throw you into the fire, it is because they’re blind; they neither see nor hear nor understand. The reason they do these things is because they’re not of the truth. For them, truth is what they make it to be. They do this because they think they sit on the seat of the One who gives them their daily breath.

The world only knows what it wants things to be.

"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you."

The world refuses to see and know what is.

But you know what is, and you will be the light. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

I am a servant of God just like you, and I am not doing this for my own glory. If I wanted to do this for my own glory, you know what I would do. Instead, the whole reason I am speaking here is because when I speak to you here, you’re able to judge me by my words. You will not judge me based on who I am or where I am from. Instead, you can judge me based on my words, and my words are true. I know my words are true because they come from what is. They do not come from what I want or how things should be or what benefits me. Believe me, this walk is hard. He didn’t say it would be easy. In fact, he said, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
