If they had maybe more of a scientific mindset they may view it as someone just yelling for the simple relief of its action it can provide when enraged, emotional release channeled through with creative expression. Spiritually speaking they’d probably see it as an expression of a chakra or expulsion of energy of some sorts or maybe using such mental comparisons as pent up magic releasing from one’s soul. alot of the really good heavy metal bands are christian, like the killing floor OST a good chunk of them are christian iirc

Most metal is less harmful than pop music. Certsin forms of black metal are evil and imbued with some sort of dark energy. Something bad happens to me every time I listen to Mayhem or Dissection or similar bands. Wouldn't recommend. I can get away with listening to some if they aren't ultra blasphemous though. I usually am okay after some Burzum because most of the lyrical content is more pagan as opposed to anti-God.
