Are thought patterns kinda like subscriptions? So, if you worry a lot then life will keep giving you shit to worry about? Or if you indulge in angry thoughts then shit will keep happening to piss you off?
>>42665741your emotions change how your perception filters and process the reality. Thoughts induce emotions, so yeah - thoughts change how you perceive things (scary, annoying, interesting, boring etc.)
>>42665741For the most part. Angry people are always angry and looking for things to get upset at. Sad people are always finding the next thing to gloom spiral. Happy people notice the butterfly that stops on their window for a moment.
>>42665741well yes. these subscriptions are called conditions. the latest full buddha explained all of this. when you add to shit when it's unnecessary you create conditions which bring suffering. seeing clearly brings peace. peace is all you want to strive for, not happiness or any of that retarded bullshit, just peace. and peace comes from minimizing the conditions in your life through burning through your karma in real time as it appears. so if you walk into a store and you're already projecting shit onto others then you have to catch that and make a pivot or an attempt to pivot out of it and that effort will add up over time to lessen your conditions/karma and slowly bring more peace into your life. you did your own subscriptions nobody else did. that's the hardest truth of buddhism or life itself, we did our own suffering across all of our lifetimes. i still have extreme mountains of karma to sift through, tons of subscriptions, but i'm making progress and my trajectory is clean and that's all you need to strive for to protect your future
>>42665741It's not that your thoughts manifest your karma, it's your karma that manifests your thoughts.
