So apparently some people are claiming that Shaq's movie never existed when they were kids in the 90s, and that it was Shazaam all along (which does not exist today and has never existed apparently).I always found this one odd, it's not your typical mandela effect (like misremembering a specific detail about one thing), in this case it's two completely different things, different cast and title as well. Anyone have any infos? Maybe someone here remembers watching this or talking about it in the 90s?
>>42667944you tell me dude i will just believe whatever you tell me
>>42667944I remember seeing it in theater in the ‘90s, and it starred Sinbad in my memory. I even remember seeing Sinbad’s name on my small-town theater’s marquee.I barely remember the movie itself, though, so I tend to believe it’d just a common memory error. Sinbad was a black comedian who was in a lot of other ‘90s movies, like Jingle All the Way, and there was also an Arabian-themed cartoon on Cartoon Network called “Voyages of Sinbad” around the same time the movie came out, so it’s feasible to me that a lot of people are simply misremembering. I’m not a Mandela effect believer, even though this one certainly effects me.
>>42667968I dunno if anyone else has ever connected this show to the Mandela effect, but I do think it played some part in me misremembering:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fantastic_Voyages_of_Sinbad_the_SailorThe Arabian typeface wasn’t super common, and it was in both
>>42667976There were like 3 other Sinbad-named, Arabian-themed things in the ‘90s, too. I remember having this VHS
Kinda rings a bell to me too, since it reminded me of the Det. Comic character I had no real exposure to.Makes me wonder and consider if these Mandella Effects are: Distorts from the Philly Experiment -> CERNNephandic Time fuckery (they may be the same all around)GATE programs distortions around as >>42667968mentions, targeted small towns? It is easier especially back then to isolate exposures and instances in small town as compared to big cities.Put that in your pipes and smoke it, X-men.>>42667976No, I don't mess with that stuff much but to the other poster yes, there's three Harryhausen era Sinbad movies and @976 there was also Pirates of Dark Water for "that vibe".Also side note the ACIO claims to fuck with Timelines to readjust them, their "soft disclosure" film and game selections also change every so often since I eyeballed them. All that SSP shit is tied to Montauk, Trip Chairs/The Chair and as I meant to mention Al Bielik was viewing other time lines just like that Yellow Cube and such Dan Burisch tech can.
>>42667944In my timeline it was Eddie Murphy
>>42667944My friend and I joked about the absurdity of the Shaq movie in high school, and I remember Sinbad dressing like a genie in his hit Comedy Central special from the 90s.
>>42667968>I barely remember the movie itself, thoughI "remember" seeing the Shaq movie but I also don't actually remember anything about it. A movie I do remember from childhood is the one where a little boy commits check fraud then tries to fuck the FBI agent investigating him and they kiss at the end.
>>42667944They're both wrong, I remember it was Will Smith.
