Besides being a politically correct but ultimately uneffective new age movement?

This is not a shitpost. All spiritual beings have goals and alignments and they intersect our material world. Collectively the potential for better living and change management exists, yet few spirits find a clever solution to make the right mark in the right way. How can individuals and collectives large and small create a system that outputs more individuals that seek to instill meaningful change?

Originally religious practice was a method to ground and reflect on ones ambitions on the earthly plane and on the consequences of one's decisionmaking. Stripping away the specifics of any religious doctrine, how would anyone be able to instill in the spirit of people around you the necessity and the will to live more aware? And how do spiritual collectives plan and execute such changes? One might say culture, art, writing and public speaking. Many of the efforts to elevate our consciousness has not come from tribalistic superstition. What then is this special blend of the sciences and the respect for and insight into the unseen that would be a next logical step?

Or, how can people help the spiritual realms to organize better and more high quality schools of thought without giving free reign to false teachers, beings or otherwise harmful influences?

You must enact the change you desire to see around you. It's why modern occult dogma preaches a touch of delusion when manifesting, 'if you believe something hard enough it will be so' and so forth, but it must be enacted in your own walking life. For example if all you talk about is conspiracy theories the people around you will be more exposed to 'awakening' because you become (in their minds/realities) a sort of archetypal poppet that's essentially shilling conspiracy theories to them. Some may resist but monkey see monkey do, eventually some will be affected by it, and not necessarily affected by you yourself but by the 'magical' and superseding projection of you in their minds as a sort of subliminal egregore. You become their example, their anchor. We are social creatures and do this subconsciously, it's not nefarious in itself, but it's also what drives our herd-think gene for better or worse.

By creating your own example instead of using someone else's. This applies even to conspiracy theories and waking people up, many conspiracies are (((fake))) to throw people off or further increase mental subjugation. When it comes to so-called "life paths," tptb throw out prefabricated one-size-fits-all narratives to bind the herd into manageable lanes. You need only walk your own path, then do it loudly and get enough people prancing behind you, to force the world to accommodate you and the change you enact.
