What we know is that he disappeared on December 8, 1994, but his wife didn't report him missing to the authorities until 1995. There was a witness testimony from 1995 who said they saw Jacobo Grinberg with his wife at a gas station, but then a plane arrived, and men in black suits got out and took them away.
