Video formats were a lot less efficient back then (even low quality rips typically took up multiple VCDs, and most of the groups switched to DVD masters as soon as they could). Assuming he started his collection in '97 (when the site was first registered) and continued growing it over time it would not be surprising for it to reach multiple terabyte sizes by the early-mid '00s.The thing to keep in mind is a /lot/ of the people involved in the piracy scene were compulsive collectors that kept absolute garbage movies and games on their servers for no reason other than to simply brag about having more content than the other guy.
