My dog died two years ago, up until I adopted my new one he would visit me in my dreams and be enveloped in a golden light/aura. It would always end when I would say "you aren't real x ,this is a dream" and he'd look sad and leave into a light. Eventually my grandmother and aunt passed and visited me the same way to insist they were real and show me the light in a way only a human can. The truth is love and love is Christ. they all came to me to get me to have faith again and that's the only way to truly commune with the "dead",Faith in Christ . Anything else is an illusion, deception, or an inferior imitation that wont be real. there are two worlds you live in, one of the flesh and one of the soul and the one of the soul is always reachable in our sleep through prayer and faith.

The process to summon him is very similar to how it feels to “imagine” him. Visualize him doing the things he always used to do. As you get used to this, eventually you’ll develop knowledge of which times it’s real. You have to help your dog get used to it, too. Try to interact. You won’t be able to feel him physically, but I think they can feel it when you touch them, because my dog likes when I wrap as much of my body around his presence as possible. I can’t feel it, but I think he can at every point of contact, so a hug is like a really great experience for him. He’s also able to show up in my dreams, especially when I nap on the couch he used to lay on. He presses my back a lot, too.

But yeah, at the start you just have to “see” him in your imagination while looking around at like your floor or stairs or whatever. See him walking around and doing his normal routine. It’s your imagination, but that’s what invites his actual presence back I think.

This is because dreams are where our brain encodes our learned information. The more I learned about my father, the more I dreamt of him. Just focusing really had was not enough.

I've been doing this without meaning to. This morning I had an impulse or something that told me he'd been reborn. Half an hour later I got a call his ashes were ready. On the bus down I spotted a beautiful large moth behind my partner on the glass. An experience I couldn't recall before, a moth of vibrant brown hues like his fur. It broke me and I started having bursts the rest of the way and back. They call it an animal visitation but I can't know if we were just highly emotional and suggestible reading an unusual but not impossible event or if it really was him or on his behalf.
