SeriouslyI was scrolling through /pol/ recently and saw a video which dropped me into existential dread for 80 secodnd straight. Like an acid trip. I'm not usually a superstitious person, but that shit was genuinely demonic.It was an animation labeled smth along the lines of 'dotheadreligion.webm'. It was genuinely so disturbing I unironically believed something supernaturally dangerous would happen to me if I saved it.Even though it was animated it was sufficiently realistic to wreck my brain. It showed a bunch of their weird symbols and deities and hallucinated entities and creatures twitching and moving in contorted deformed ways surrounded by blood and constantly flashing light like it could cause an epileptic seizure. I would have to find it again to show you how fucked it is properly, maybe later in the thread.My core curiosity is this;could there be a genuine supernatural element to this? Like, is there something about India itself that's genuinely depraved and corrupted and rotten on a metaphysical scale? What's up with the unsettling energy? Could it explain how fucked basically everything about them is? Poor hygiene, incest, rape, bestiality, etc etc etcMy theory so far is only that psychedelic drugs in a primitive form might have existed in like 6000 BC and some jeet had an overdose and made up a new sect mid-hallucination.Thoughts?
