Do you think any "ghost hunting" tool could give legitimate results? I understand that the spirit box is just cycling radio stations and some words spit out. It just feels like it seems more plausible that a non-material, potentially non-temporal entity would be manifesting its will from beyond material causation, like as a secondary cause for phenomenon. Kind of how "luck" can be explained away by reducing the lucky phenomenon down to its causes and saying "well it could happen even if the chances are low" but assuming luck is real, it wouldn't matter what the material causes are because luck would be prior to those things or influence them in some way we can't observe. Now wouldn't rapid, random flux be ripe ground for a mindful entity that influences reality like this? I suppose you could argue even a person's brain piloting a ouija board could be subject to the same influence, but I think there's more room for the mind itself to fool itself and everyone is prone to suggestion, whereas the box spits out words randomly that make sense or do not.It seems more possible to "get in touch" with something in this way, than like shining a UV light to find a handprint that can only be left by a physical human body.
My friend you can get results by just jotting down notes with a pen and pad. Adding more technology into the mix is to help convince *you* not the spirits.
>>42742634Well it's about ruling out potential for delusion clouding the results as much as possible.
>>42742646If you aren't delusional why should the gods even take you seriously?Amateur fucking hour.
>>42742646To be frank I think that's still missing the point about convincing *yourself* rather than proving to the world that there is life beyond death. That's just my opinion, however. The way I see it, the evidence is already been trotted out a time or two. It's consistent enough to rule out delusions but that's not enough to convince everyone; the masses need to feel it is "safe" to believe in such things before they'll openly do so. What I'm saying is that adding more technology into the mix probably won't produce a much different result than what is possible through consciousness itself. No matter what you rule out, people will not be more convinced than they already are. That's part of the weirdness of the phenomenon in general, I think. It's ineffable and mysterious and people believe in it (or don't) for personal reasons and not strictly because evidence-backed research has substantiated anything. Why? I think on some level we already know/remember about the spirit world to some extent and we're making a free will choice to be ignorant about it most of our lives, and then BOOM!--we're convinced by one thing or another which may or may not be rational sounding to everyone else.
>>42742591It's running through all those FM channels at 10hz (10 channels a second). If you hear a phrase it's definitely not a whole soundbite from one station.
>>42742681I just think what I could be convinced of subjectively is kind of irrelevant. I don't disbelieve just because I don't have *faith* in something. I think any *faith* in myself or my own experiences alone is misplaced. Material things and other minds are the only things that at this point I am fairly sure are independent from my mind, so if I can check phenomenon and subjective experience against those things and find correlation I can be reasonably sure they are at least not purely inventions of my mind.
>>42742591No
>>42742835>I think any *faith* in myself or my own experiences alone is misplaced>Material things and other minds are the only things that at this point I am fairly sure are independent from my mind>I can be reasonably sure they are at least not purely inventions of my mindYou are at the threshold, Anon. The point at which a person awakens to something... more real. Plenty of confident realists have tried to reach the point you're at but couldn't do so honestly. You're just honest enough to be on the path. I am happy for you, and I wish you good fortune in the days to come.
>>42742815Why do phrases in videos come out in one voice, then another phrase in a different voice? Seems like 1-2 seconds at least of one station's voice.>>42742851I've read the book this is from lol
>>42742856It's the ghost's voice. That 100ms on the box display means it's only on a station for 100 milliseconds. I can see it max lasting 0.3ms (over three dials) if if starts quiet gets loud and quiet again it could be one radio station. But broadcast laws prevent stations from bleeding +- 2 stations (89.7 would be on 89.6 to 89.8) in North America.Fill sentences with one voice is a paranormal event.

It depends how many guys are proud of you. That is the question. How many guys are proud of you?
>>42742913ai post
>>42742918Is that AI in the room with us right now?Just answer the question. How many guys are proud of you?
>>42742948None that I know of. Now answer why it's relevant to this thread.
>>42742952>Making a demand instead of asking a question.
>>42742981>Just answer the question.I answered your "demand" but you are apparently not an honest enough person to do the same. Can't explain yourself, just type vagaries. Boring. All threads on this board just get derailed by solipsistic sophists like you that contribute nothing.

>>42743032Some dude pontificating on something unrelated to the thread.>>42743037The demand is an inquiry. Don't bother answering it, you have nothing to say that I'm interested in.
>>42743042>The demand is an inquiry. No shit, except you missed the part that was a necessary qualifier to the statement, and the most important was the previous response indicating the tone as a declarative demand vs interrogative quandary.
>>42742591Yepp, these work well. Different types of sounds repell them, it's a bit like incense or a shaman drum.
>>42743042>Don't bother answering it.Fine. I'm abandoning thread now. You're left to ponder the mystery alon.
>>42743062Like, just playing the keyboard? How do you know they're "repelled?"
>>42742591RLM got a semi spooky orb on video using the rem pod. They didn't notice they had that on video until the editing process which is why they never talk about it. Time stamp is at 30:52 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNCY60ZQ7W0Rem pods seem legit to me.
>>42743095Neat. I didn't know these guys did this, and they seem like they'd be dismissive so I wouldn't expect them to fake anything. Should be a fun watch. Thanks.
>>42743062This true and the theremin is the best device to prevent scalating to haunting. I am able to go to the bathroom without Toire no Hanako-san, daayans, or churels getting my children. This is what I did:https://i.4cdn.org/wsg/1785215225540919.mp4
>>42743112This device is better to locate the ghosts and than EMF meter. It doesn't so much get rid of them as it allows them to communicate even if they don't have the power to manifest. You can even make your own REMPOD DIY now too.In other words, the theremin isn't likely to interrupt the ghosts, instead it is more likely to let you know if you have one. Good luck on your toilet witches though, if luck even exists as OP stated.
