Can people really shapeshift? There's a cult led by a mother that claims she can shapeshift. The cult is called the Order of Dark Arts. It's mostly headquartered on Facebook and it is mainly a marketing funnel for dropshipped products from China. The leaders name is Ashley Otori. She always hides her grotesque appearance with an elongated neck. She claims to be the demon Choronzon, and "The Seventh" which is an egregore she made that is supposed to be a later version of Eve from Genesis, who is now the Princess of the 7th circle of Hell. She also lies about being a Harvard educated doctor and clinical psychologist, despite no real records of having any of the required credentials and training. She sells magical oils and her followers celebrate when they change color, but they change color due to mold, due to the fake gold and other cheap ingredients. She also posts obscured and manipulated pictures and videos of fake casino and lottery winnings to get people to buy more of her products so that they will think they will win big too.The Daily Mail recently published a few articles about her after people complained about her harassment and scams.

>>42746863I'm face blind and don't know anything about make-up, portrait photography, or much about photo editing so I don't feel qualified to comment on whether the differences in the picture are necessarily the result of shapeshifting. If you are telling the truth about her pattern of lying I would think it's more likely that she's lying about shapeshifting than for her to genuinely be a shapeshifter. However, I will note that shapeshifting is not mutually exclusive with charlatanism. As to your query of whether shapeshifting exists generally, I believe particular beings other than humans can shapeshift, and I believe humans can acquire supernatural abilities, but I don't know whether humans can specifically acquire the ability to shapeshift. IIRC some of the beings in the extremely well documented Colares UFO flap/Operacao Prato shapeshifted, though I'd have to double check. I seem to already possess a superhuman resistance to stab wounds, and am interested in acquiring the ability to shapeshift.I have recently been reading The Magic and Mysteries of Mexico by Lewis Spence, and it contains a passage about a ritual to become a nagual and gain a guardian spirit, which was sometimes believed to grant people the ability to shapeshift. I shall transcribe the passage in the following replies.
>>42746863>>42747053Chapter 8, the Mysteries of Nagualism>The general conception underlying this return to primitive beliefs is well, if simply, outlined by Herrera in his "General History" which dates from 1530.>He writes:>"The Devil deluded them, appearing in the shape of a lion, or a tiger, or a coyote, a beast like a wolf, or in the shape of an alligator, a snake, or a bird, which they called naguales, signifying keepers or guardians, and when the bird died the Indian who was in league with him died also, which often happened and was looked upon as infallible. The manner of contracting this alliance was thus: the Indian repaired to the river, wood, hill, or most obscure place, where he called upon devils by such names as he thought fit, talked to the rivers, rocks or woods, said he went to weep that he might have the same his predecessors had, carrying a cock or dog to sacrifice. In that melancholy fit he fell asleep, and either in a dream or waking saw one of the aforesaid birds or other creatures, whom he entreated to grant him profit in salt, cacao, or any other commodity, drawing blood from his own tongue, ears, and other parts of his body, making his contract at the same time with the said creature, the which, in either a dream or waking, told him, 'Such a day you shall go abroad a-sporting, and I will be the first bird or other animal you shall meet, and will be your nagual and companion at all times.' Whereupon such friendship was contracted between them that when one of them died the other did not survive, and they fancied that he who had no nagual could not be rich."As a worshiper of a dog deity I cannot condone the sacrifice of such an animal, though I see no major issue with the sacrifice of a cock or the rest of the ritual.
