Warning: This is something that I would consider to be a cognitohazard, or something that is similar to that. Only those with a strong mind should read it. I am very serious about this. Even though I have a feeling it is just a creepy pasta.

Is this a real ritual?
Does any one know or remmeber the account before it was deleted at all? Or could one find out the account some how at all?

There are a couple of other ritual I believe to be from that same account. Reverse museum and A date with her.

I do not believe in those rituals necessarily. This has had me scared for a while long time.

Based on the context I'd say this is a "real ritual" in the literal sense; all ritualized actions are rituals.
I think what you're really asking if doing these steps as explained here can summon *something*.

My experience with this sort of manifestation/magick is that it works if people believe it does. That account describes it as something "passed down" which both the marker of creative writing AND of legitimate folk magic. It could just be someone scamming for Reddit karma, which is part of the problem with that platform.

All that being said, my sense is that it is a silly prank (getting gullible people to perform dumb rituals and scare themselves), but also that it could work anyway. It's just chaos magick in that sense. That's the problem with the phenomenon actually; either it works for no obvious reason or nothing happens--and if you're scared it's easier to believe already.

I would advise not engaging with communities that peddle things like that, real or not.

What the fuck is the point in even doing this if it is real?

I'm not looking because I'm not familiar with this particular one and don't want to get cognitohazarded.

But important thing to know: rituals used to be one of the spoopy story tropes on /x/. Ten years ago I scared myself reading people's experiences with the Midnight Man one. In Elisa Lam threads, yes, a real-life murder mystery topic, people used to post one about pressing elevator buttons in a certain order to go to an alternate world. If you did that today, you'd get dismissed as silly or called a glowie.

Point is, scary rituals are a genre. Whether or not it works, whether as mental illusions or something else, things like this get posted as campfire tales.

/x/ is really the shit smeared butthole of this site by now. A massive botfarm at this point.
