Although I never grew up on CRT TV's, this image that pops up when there's no signal in your TV set and that weird noise with the black and white dots sparkling across the screen just seems.. Spooky. It's almost like the technology back then were built for something else. As if it's trying to tune into another dimension or reality. I mean, something like this where it's just generates random white and black dots with no signal just tells me something is definitely off.
>>42755567theres a scary movie about this that spooked me as a kid
>>42755582This. So much this. Very interesting you would bring that up. Lots of horror movies always have that weird TV image. Makes you wonder.
>>42755567Prepare for the ultimate spooky.Static White Noise Masteryhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCnCMHNyny8
If yall are so spooked by this, just imagine seeing it all the time with visual snow syndome or every time you look at a day time sky with blue field entoptic phenomena. Now imagine, if you will, experiencing both simultaneiously with tinnitus. Are you scared yet?
>>42755615are you william gibson?
>>42755619No did he have all three issues or something? Why do you ask?
>>42755631thats how he starts the book neuromancer. by describing the sky like the static on an untuned television. pretty cool coincidence man!
fun fact: that stuff was the CMBR which encodes every possible message ever sent in the universe, so while it looked random it was actually alien signals. they put it on there primarily to recruit gen I to III psychic children. there were messages encoded in the noise, and if you could see them it directed you to a local arcade / video store / mall / library with specific instructions to meet a handler, get a drop etc.a lot of kids would go missing for months at a time during those early test phase years, as they didn't know how to explain this properly everyone involved was heavily drugged and weird excuses were made up involving long hospital stays, overseas visit with distant relatives, exchange programs.
>>42755652It isn't cool, bro. It's like being blind because everything is fucking fuzzy all the damn time. Only a fiction writer could make something like blindness seem like a gift.
there was something about the tube tv that made it seem more like a portal than modern tvs
it's calmingreminds me of being in my grandparents house and dozing off after the vhs movie ends
>>42756119sorry i didnt mean it like that. i misunderstood your post, i didnt realize you were talking about yourself. the metaphor got my mind going. hope things go well for you.
>>42755615This is fucked up man.
>>42756355It's cool dude. I don't have all three. You likely understood my post just fine. I just typed too aggressively in my response. Fault lies with me, I suppose. I didn't expect an apology on 4chinz. I've just been here too long...fucking site.To clear it up, I only have the Blue Field Entoptic phenomena but it's not just blue fields some other brighter color fields can cause it also. I was just imagining having all three like my post pointed out, and I couldn't possible see how it would be enjoyable because I would definitely not want to see those swimmy spinny circles all the damn time. However, I do also get migraines with aura and those silver lines drive me nuts before the pain starts. Those visual auras don't even allow me to drive or do anything really.
>>42756689It absolutely is a nightmarish scenario. It's White Noise - high squeal edition. Now with amplification.
>>42756700no it's not. you just have to be a little more sure of what you've seen or heard than the average person
>>42755567Every generation is creeped out by outdated technology that used to be ubiquitous. It’s similar to the feeling you get with liminal spaces, but instead it’s for liminal (intermediary) inventions stripped of context.
>>42756692yah this place can be much, but dont let it change you. and no, really, what you were typing immediately made me think of william gibson, so i honestly misinterpreted your post.ouch, this sounds heavy. honestly dont know what to say. maybe try energy work, to see if it helps.
>>42755567This is what the spirit world looks like
>>42758502Ackshully it’s what cosmic microwave background radiation looks like
>>42758511>cosmic microwave background radiationmade up NASA gibberish
>>42755567It's basically like Missing No.TV reading irrelevant radio waves aka garbage data so the result is random dots.
>>42758594it is decaying heat heat is very real observed by the sensation of its absence
>>42755582The ring?

>>42755582Pulse?
>>42755567Spooky how?? I stare at these for 30 minutes unblinking just to meditate and watch patterns. Nothing is gonna jump out of your tv anon lmao
