Has anyone here ever tried to do this? I've attempted it a few times while lucid dreaming but every time I try to move to my desired reality I end up waking up before I can arrive there.

Your guide is three pages of shit written by an insane my little pony poster.

The difficulty is that in order to enter the new reality you must have no knowledge of the previous one. You would never know you successfully did it. It's much easier to shift towards a new (similar) reality step by step. But even that takes an immense amount of will and concentration.

>you need to be able to do astral project to do this
yep into the trash it goes. Might as well fight Allah while you're at it
>>
>>42757490
I have but I always get sucked back to this reality. It would be nice to stay in one of the better ones.

Same, ive tried doing this 3 times when i can lucid dream. But the dream ends right before i step into a portal. Maybe try astral projecting from a lucid dream, thats what i'd try.

What's the step by step process?
>>
>inb4 it's just a dream
The last time I did this, I visited a reality where my dad was still alive, about a year ago. The layout of the roads and mountains were different. I stayed as long as I could. Somehow I "knew" where to drive. Few reasons I know it was not a dream, I could feel the pedals and such, and the boring times and doing the mundane shit like driving. Dreams are more like movies, and I always wake up here tired as if I didn't sleep. I was a lawyer in the world, and the laws worked differently but much the same as they do here, fairness and all that. Murder being bad. I was a financial attorney though, so it was about as boring as you would expect. But I visited my dad and he was surprised to see me, because I was always "busy" and somehow I was "nicer" than usual. I guess I was an asshole in this reality. But I spent the day with him. Went to lunch as I would here. Just spent time with him. Listened to him talk about his mundane shit. I gave him a hug and explained the situation. The longer I stayed, the buzzing set in though. And going to sleep in the other realities always sends me back here.

that's not exactly true, but it might be why I can't seem to get myself to stick in those realities. There is always something tugging me back.
>>

NTA but I can tell you how I do it.
the energy has to be "right" if that makes sense. Almost thinner.
I project out as if I am going to go flying around, like when I was a kid I would sit on top of light poles. As I got older I would notice that I could push through. There's no portal for me. I just sort of sink in like falling asleep but deeper.
You gotta be careful though because there are versions of reality where you are in prison for doing some heinous crime. Fucking shit is scary when that happens. Trust me this reality is better than a lot of them.

You can't really force it though, it's like breathing or seeing or smelling, it just sort of is. To push into the better ones though, you gotta feel good, and not scared or negative if that makes sense.

NTA
You have to, when in a reality you want, let go of this one. No ties. Have a dog or a family? They will pull you back if you desire them. When you are there, just say outloud
>this is my new reality, I let go of the old one, all ties positive and negative, this is my now and my future.
and then decide to stay. Bitch if I could do this naturally, I would. You have a gift. May you find happiness! Don't let imposter syndrome take over. Just know the "you" in that reality will be stuck in this one and you will be displacing yourself. Don't feel bad about it. Just ask the powers that be, "send me to a better reality where the me there deserves to be stuck in this one"
>>
Guys, forget about these pages and try the two glasses with water method. No woman is going to breastfeed you the technique, so research it.
It works and I was moved into a reality where the Mandela Effect has always been a thing, where so many things had changed and they kept changing, with glitches in the matrix proving I just keep moving to different realities.
The realities are very similar to the one you came for, the biggest changes seem to be about the death of celebrities and relatives (people you KNEW died actually remaining alive) and the largest being related to geography (like "sideways America now looks like a duck".)
Equestria seems far fetched but perhaps I'm just a slow jumper.

Thank you. I have no desire to leave this one, just a wee recon. I'd rather bring something cool from the other ones here and share it with my peeps.

Do you know anything about defragmenting yourself? Does it entail your death in other timelines?
>>

The issue is, realities, are all just as mundane as this one. I’ve never been to one where my physical body could fly. I just wake up and I’m in said body. I was a billionaire once. You can’t take physical objects with you. They’re concrete to that reality. Like I woke up with a stereo remote in my hand and a hangover. Alcohol was a thing. I had a whore in the bed with me. I remember the floating stairs. Teak wood and such. Laws themselves like human laws
>if you get caught speeding 3 times, your digital license gets revoked and you need to do community service to have it reinstated.
How the fuck does that translate to here? The layout of the roads and placement of mountains and houses? Again that’s how things are. I don’t know what it is you’d really take back outside of the experience.
>>
>>42758191
Makes sense. I think I've been to other timelines in my dreams a couple times. Not really a reason to believe this, but Flow My Tears The Policeman Said made me feel almost like in those dreams.
>>
>>42758107
Have you tried seperating your silver cord from your body and sucking the cord back into yourself to become a spirit temporarily to then merge with destined body you've chosen?
I read that was the process /apg/ posters of old were doing.
>>
>>42757490
Sliders?
>>
>>42757490
No one tried that beacuse it is not real and retarded
>>

>The issue is, realities, are all just as mundane as this one.
Not "realities", "earths". Your problem is traveling to the same planet each time and finding out they're just as mundane. To find really interesting stuff you have to go outside this world and see the things that go beyond what we have imagined in fiction.
And then you'll remember that's from where you came from, that you abandoned those places because they were too boring and easy, that you came here to the most mundane world because it's also the most challenging one, and you didn't stay a billionaire because bypassing its challenges with money would be pointless.

That just sounds like lucid dreaming.
