It was an experience, not a vision. It happened to me, in that when I awoke, a grown ass man mind you, I was inconsolable. I hadn't merely seen something horrific, it happened to me. I felt it. You know the footage of the human stampedes that happen during large gatherings? Think that but no scenery or backdrop and everyone scrambling to get to one person in the middle of said pack. Hands clawing at my face as I struggle to escape but cannot move an inch. The ending involved someone I knew. A dear friend of mine. Someone I've known since high school, who passed away abruptly a few years before this event.He emerges from the crowd nearest me, practically horizontal from fighting through the sea of bodies. He reaches out and grabs my arm with both hands, and bites into my forearm with the biggest smile on his face while doing so. Then I woke up.
