A lot of people don't believe in aliens, but, there are simply too many sightings out there. One time I saw multiple, rapidly moving dots of light, they weren't shooting stars or spacecraft, as they seemed as if they were stopping and starting again. They seemed as if they were studying our planet, almost 'hopping' across the sky, passing other stars. I managed to vaguely see the source of the light, a huge, bird shaped, triangular structure, then it seemingly disappeared into the night. I'm going to call this encounter, "C23". I also recall, however, almost the same thing back when I was younger, and my parents said they remember it. A fast moving bright dot, which that time formed into a triangle, seemingly stopping, and then glowing the room a warm, lime green before disappearing. I to this day have no idea what that was. My theory? Aliens are planning something, and the first stage is reconnaissance.

A fair amount of sightings are projected consciousness, like when someone sees a ghost, but when a camera captures what they saw, all the recording shows is a orb

I saw a maetallic orb in Pompano Beach, FL mid April 2023. Sunny day around noon. I was walking to Jersey Mikes on my lunchbreak. The orb was flying low maybe 15-20 stories high. I was a building engineer for a 7 story building so I am somewhat guessing. It was rotating on its x axis, which I could tell because the reflection of the sun on the surface.I was watching is glide above me and noticed it had electrical static or distortion surrounding it.I thought this is fucking weird and thought to grab my phone and record it. The second that thought entered my brain the orb broke into a bunch of fragments, all held inside this static shell, and continued to spin & glide at the same rate as when it was solid. It then reformed instantly and phased out to nothing.This blew my mind and I've been obsessed with the topic since. I have never seen a video resembling this. I used to go up ton the roof of my building looking for it again.
They're not aliens. They're literally tunneling in from another dimension. They also don't interact with humanity much at all.

IMO what >>42807927 is talking about isn't a new thing, it's a result of a selection bias - in past periods where UFO activity was in the public perception like this, the worst of the armchair woo-woo would have been filtered out by needing to have enough brain cells to get your theory published, and you'd only hear about it if you personally knew someone dumb and/or absent enough to buy them.One thing that I think would be super cool though: taking the little data we do have about the objects (acceleration in videos measured from reference points, material properties demonstrated even if simple things like reflectivity or opacity) and picking apart what it would actually take to make a machine capable of this performance from an engineering perspective. Does anyone here even know where to start with this sort of thing?
