Bhagavad Gita explains the cosmology and metaphysics of time in an utterly fascinating and complete way in my point of view as someone who studied both gnostic and Christian systems on its whole. Since one can draw the correspondence between Christ -> Krishna and God Supreme Personality as an Avatar, and there are several theories explaining how the Earthly Reign of Christ already happened and thus the origin and explanation of old world architecture, 1900s hidden history and etc, how it all make sense together? It doesn’t feels like to me that the information inside the Gita and Upanisads, but specifically around the Gita, are false. Primarily, given that it is spoken by God/Logos itself. TLDR: I’m having a hard time trying to conciliate the Genesis explanation on the creation of the Earth and man with 6.000 years, and the Yuga systems where the creation, World and man have millions/billions of years of existence and its cyclical, with each Yuga having millions of years till its finishing.Anyone can help me understand this subject with any insight?> Bible: Earth is 6.000 years old and man lineages are relatively young> Bhagavad Gita: the world that exists inside the Brahma, are millions of years old and cyclical, humanity is old.
Bible is bastardized rendering of TruthRead the revelationIll tell you more when you have

A system within a system. Are you thinking about the total times it went around the circle? Or is it a total time of ALL realities? trichiliocosm (plural trichiliocosms)(Buddhism) A concept in cosmology of a "third-order" universe containing one thousand second-order clusters, which are made of one thousand first-order clusters, which are in turn made of a thousand worlds each. Billion-fold universe.A shattered mirror. Each piece is still a part of the whole.
>>42814547On my understanding, while reading the Gita, Logos created the universe being outside of it, on this sequence of events:- Brahma, a metaphysical place where everything is inside (like the boundaries of our reality or “Universe” on logical terms) a place that ain’t eternal and lives a huge amount of Yugas until it’s destroyed (like trillions of years, almost eternal from a human perspective, but not so)- Earth and other planes: Inside the Brama, there’s a scale of planes where there are more or less virtues and proximity to the supreme, being the Earth, the middle path. Hell and heavenly places not necessarily are places of supreme bliss or torture, but rather places with more or less pleasure and justice (if we think Earth is unfair, planes beneath earth tends to have more injustice and abuse of power, etc)Till this part I think everything makes sense to me. The thing is that Christianity tells that the Earth is made likely yesterday (6.000 years) and do not fit in this scheme. It’s not saying: Gos created the universe billions of years ago, wiped humanity a thousand times and now it’s been 6.000 years since the last. It only says: there’s one flat plane, center of it all, relatively young and that’s it.Or I’m being ignorant reducing Christian cosmology and timeline to my rough interpretation.
Krishna isn't real and neither is jesus
>>42814540I’ve tried reading Revelation but didn’t understand it, to be honest. There were some readings of Revelation that made sense to me, like:> It was making reference to the conflicts of the time of Jesus and Roman Empire and etc before the Millenial Reign was built upon earth (Tartaria) thus it ain’t valid no more since it is already fulfilled Anyway 23 September 2017 events involving the fulfillment of Revelation 12:1 also seems to match so I’m really lost in this subject.
>>42814605We’re not debating the validity of Krishna or Jesus existence, but the compatibility between two systems that seems to be connected by the same archetypes and teachings.
>>42814514>Bhagavad Gita explains the cosmology and metaphysics of timeNo it doesnt. What verses, specifically, are you looking at?The timelines you are talking about are described in the Puranas, not anywhere in the Gita.> the world that exists inside the BrahmaAre you the fool that keeps trying to equate Brahma with Brahman?Do you think he words ape and apex mean the same thing?
>>42814598>Brahma, a metaphysical place where everything is insidePlease stop doing this. It's so stupid it physically hurts my eyes.Brahma is a deva.Brahmin are the priestly classBrahman is the impersonal conception of the Supreme, eternal and unchanging.Even one letter can make the difference between rape, rope, and ripe.

>>42815137I think the distinction is fair, and I was using Brahma incorrectly when I meant Brahman. But saying that the Gita contains no cosmology or metaphysics of time is also too strong. There are explicit cosmological passages in the Gita itself (important to note I am reading que ISKON commentary on the Gita also, the “As It Is” edition)>BG 8.16 describes the hierarchy of material worlds, from the highest planet down to the lowest.>BG 8.17–19 explicitly describes Brahma’s day and night, the manifestation and dissolution of living beings, and cyclical cosmic time.>BG 8.20–21 distinguishes the material manifest/unmanifest from an eternal reality beyond it.>BG 7.4–5 distinguishes material nature from the higher nature consisting of living beings.>BG 10.8 says Krishna is the source of all material and spiritual worlds.>BG 14.27 explicitly distinguishes Brahman from Brahma: “I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman.”And chapter 11 gives the cosmic vision, including Brahma, the devas, the various beings and worlds, and Krishna identifying himself as Time, the great destroyer of worlds (11.32).I was wrong to conflate Brahma with Brahman. But the Gita absolutely does present a cosmology and a metaphysics of cosmic time. What would be inaccurate is claiming that it contains all the detailed numerical cosmography and chronology found in the Puranas and anyway the representations are also summarized on the commentary edition. That is the distinction I should have made. Anyway you didn’t answer anything I said on the post lol just stop by to stick to terminologies and gave zero contribution to clarify my doubt that is indeed sincere.
>>42815262>>BG 8.16 describes the hierarchy of material worlds, from the highest planet down to the lowest.Okay, let's see exactly what this says.>8.16-19:From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kuntī, never takes birth again.>By human calculation, a thousand ages taken together form the duration of Brahmā’s one day. And such also is the duration of his night.>At the beginning of Brahmā’s day, all living entities become manifest from the unmanifest state, and thereafter, when the night falls, they are merged into the unmanifest again.>Again and again, when Brahmā’s day arrives, all living entities come into being, and with the arrival of Brahmā’s night they are helplessly annihilated.Doesnt give ANY hierarchal detail.Gives only the most cursory and vague "thousand ages"Doesnt say ANYTHING about the yugas themselves.>I think the distinction is fair, and I was using Brahma incorrectly when I meant Brahman.AI obsequious bullshit. You have no clue what you are talking about.
