Kinda have a gut feeling we might already be in this or a similar situation, and this is slow disclosure.

if you want to read about organic computers, and dna based computers, a good place to start is ray kurzweil. hes an oldfag inventor. his book, the age of spiritual machines, is fantastic. its dense. at times its like a textbook, but man does he talk about cool shit in there. highly reccommended.

i think it was released in late 90s. what makes it prophetic, is that a lot of his predictions, have come true...

Did he predict the future...
...or did the powers that be look at his ideas and think, "hey we should do that" like they did with many of the dystopian novels of old.

it was a bit of cheating, and keen observation. he is an inventor. but hes also observed a lot of things happening in the tech world. if you try his book, you will see. it would take forever to explain, but heres a few simple examples.

he used to talk about how people would be walking around with multiple devices, and each person would have their own wireless network. (cant remember the words he used) me and my friends thought this was crazy. impossible futuristic shit. well, we call it wifi, bluetooth, nfc, etc. phones, watches tablets.

he goes into depth about ai. most of his works are about ai. he made chilling predictions, which are coming true now.

he talks about all sorts of stuff. if you just watch someones youtube summary of him, it will not suffice. if you want the good shit, check out his book/s.

sorry, if it wasnt clear. he is part of the process, of all this new technology. so he predicted stuff, then went and helped invent it. but in the past, he was known for ocr (optical character recognition) something to do with synthesizers, and he has been in ai for a while.

he also goes into depth about dna based computers, and the optimal way to use it. it provides theoretical answers, for known problems. i.e. travelling salesman problem. its fascinating.

He was the fool who came up with the idea of “singularity” in the cult of big tech. The father of transhumanism and a total materialist and moron. Disregard him. Just another ((them)).

im sorry, but i very much disagree. he is well written, his logic is sound, hes clearly intelligent, he has a long proven track record, and his books are extremely thought provoking, from many viewpoints. technology (obviously), he talks about quantum physics, spirituality, he has theorized quite a bit about ai, the ethics, and expands on where it leads.

theres just so much to talk about, when it comes to kurzweil. one of his debates, were about ai creating art. back in the 90s, this seemed absurd. now, look where we are.

yes, he wants to transer his consciousness into machines. just because most of us dont agree with it, doesnt mean, his entire body of work is now invalid. he is a brilliant man. but still a man. flawed, like all of us.

ouu, his discussions on new materials, is great. like, a layperson like me can understand the intricacies of whats coming down the pipeline, and theoretical ways to use it. its good stuff. but i still respect your opinion, while i dont share it.

He was literally employed by Google as some sort of future technology predictor, yes.
