If you want to know whether a particular paranormal event is real you’ll need to be able to identify hoaxes and normal phenomena. If you want to encounter paranormal phenomena I’ve had positive experiences with night strolls. Dream journaling is also a good idea, many people believe dreams can contain messages from paranormal entities and in my experience dream journaling improves your memory and logical ability. The most important thing to do though IMO is to read high-quality books on paranormal phenomena.
