Yes the earth has cyclical cataclysms that happen every 6-10 thousand years or so when humanity is reset and starts over with very little. Flood myths, Noah’s ark, Atlantis ect… water damage on the sphinx dates it much older than modern scholars have presented indicated that there has probably been at least two pole shifts since civilization first started if not more but the evidence is lost to time on further back ones.
