I think the only thing that works in gambling is you have to pick games with decent odds in the first place so scratch tickets are shit to begin with. But go play like blackjack or craps or whatever decent odds game and even the bonus side bets on those games are better than scratch tickets or lottery. And then within your first ten to twenty bets you should feel if you’re in “the zone” or not. If you’re in the zone raise your bets and keep playing. If not get out and go home. The zone is magical place. It happens in sports where you seem to just play your best and it happens in gambling. The pit bosses know this and they are said to have magicians on staff to ruin your zone streak so they will be rude to you to try to end your zone streak.
