I *strongly* suspect that when I "die" I will wake up from a dream. The goal of my life is to detach myself so much from the world around me that nothing will pull me back into the dream once I wake up. But who is keeping me asleep? Why do they not want me to wake up? What is the "real world"?
>>42829127You wake up and realize there's nothing to do for the next 5000 years, so your options are doing nothing and suffer the boredom, or perhaps live another life knowing nothing can really hurt you and everything is for entertainment purposes only. But it's only fun if you engage.
>>42829127You actually go deeper into a dream when you die, and only if you have prowess will clarity and awareness will you even realize it.
>>42829140Lmao “suffer the boredom.”What a loser.
>>42829140Wouldn't be an issue if you didn't forget yourself every life.
>>42829214Why were you born? Being bored and being curious are the most likely answers, but the latter doesn't work if you already know what you'll deal with.>>42829225You can decide to not forget, like the people that remember their past life. Turns out it's a hassle, many people get stuck in their current lives because of all the trauma and remorse and resentment of what other people did to you, past events that weight so much you can't advance.Imagine begin able to erase all that and choosing to have to carry the luggage, wanting that is caused by the ego that wants to use that as its identity, you are who you are because of what happened to you, but when one dies, the ego dies, and it just becomes a random story one read in a book you lived in first person, the next book doesn't necessitate the same character, to be someone else you must let die who you were previously.
>>42829258Forgetting is laziness and undermines each character. Its real easy to close a book and say "well that's done" and then read another book that is opposite to the first just to try to balance it. An ego with eternal linear progression that learns to release its baggage and overcome its flaws is far better then just being consumed and put way like a piece of media.
>>42829258Boredom and curiosity are massive assumptions. Framing that as the reason why also totally neglects the myriad of lives lived as slaves, victims of natural and manmade evil in youth etc. Midwit.
>>42829127Only 1 way to find out. Just keep your identity and everything will be okay.
>>42829282>An ego with eternal linear progressionThat does not exist. Your ego wants to live that fantasy because its ultimate dream is to be eternal. In reality, the oversoul doesn't have such an ego, egos are temporary and disappear when dying, that's really what fear to death is, it's not about the ceasing of existence, it's the erasure of the character you play as, which only lived in this short stretch of time, and will never return. The progression, leveling up, and learning how to deal with scenarios for future lives are all an illusion and the oversoul doesn't become better at anything, because you already had perfected any ability and skill you can imagine, you forget to be able to experience how's it learned from scratch, and you tend to make it more difficult and challenging for future lives because you already lived being a millionaire who could buy what you wanted and it seemed just a little less boring than the other planes of existence where you could manifest things at will.Your oversoul doesn't know how the experience you'll live feel like, and doesn't know how you'll deal with things, or if you'll be successful, you come here to know those things.
>>42829378To think of yourself as nothing more then a character to be discarded after use is horrible. There is no oversoul, there is only you.
>>42829285Artificial scarcity is so recent the time frame isn't long enough to have lived a myriad of lives as a slave for you, all those issues were introduced to make the game more challenging, while leaving enough people in the world that don't have to struggle (me included) for the people that don't want to experience those challenging parts of life.It turns out it's fair because the challenges of life are self-imposed, you wanted to experience as much as you could in a single life, and that's the reason they piled up, you could have half of your problems, but then, since they're problems you wanted to experience anyway, the other half would have needed to wait for a future life, so why not living them already? That's what people think but then they regret piling so many once they're experiencing them all at once.
>>42829387Not only does it exist, it manages several spirits that can manage several bodies. The one you have feels special because it's the only one you can directly can experience, though you can only experience what other of your characters are living in dream, where you look at your reflection and find a strange face, it's one of your bodies managed by your soul.Reality is a fractal, you can learn a lot from "as above so below", and video games, where the character you play as only exists while the console is turned on, so you can be Mario or Joanna Dark while the game runs, with the advantage of forgetting it's a game so the danger feels like the ultimate one, but Mario or Joanna don't even know about you, they don't know you're the real one, it's not so much that they're discarded when the game is over, it's that they were never really you.
>>42829398But Mario and Joanna are not real. They are media made by others. If someone where to somehow turn around and say but anon actually they are real existing things with real existing minds that think and feel and feel awful when they lose I would feel ashamed. Shamed that my desire for content so selfishly gave birth to things with no real consideration for them. How could I ever feel apart of some other soul that does not give me the same regard? That did not chose to let me be aware of its greater self my purpose or any of that stuff. Why would you not feel nothing but rage and discontent at some greater being that created you for nothing but its own amusement. I don't get why you'd ever chose to believe such a disgusting premise or take any joy in it. The entire thing is so pointlessly superfluous and spoken as some kind of divine truth that you just have to accept because someone in a book said so. You can be erased when you die anon but its just not for me.
>>42829388Again this is all a massive assumption. It also sounds like a massive cope to avoid confronting evil. What is your reasoning to suggest that suffering is asked for? What is the logic? What is the evidence in support of it?
>>42829378>>42829398You have no idea until you're on the other side. There's no way to know if whatever is above, or the above above that that will create a unique experience for you again.Like Star Trek when they use their teleportation. They get atomized and die, only for a new copy to reappear in a different area where they wanted to teleport to. Same idea. If this consciousness is mine, it doesn't matter whether I have a new outlook cause I'm still the "pilot" behind it.
>>42829411>But Mario and Joanna are not realAs real as you are. In this layer they don't feel anything, for the metaphor to work you have to imagine a version of the game where you live their lives in first person and are completely fooled into thinking you're there, like an actor playing as a character that has fully overwritten his memories with the ones that make it no longer be just "an act" because all the reactions are real.>How could I ever feel apart of some other soul that does not give me the same regard?Because it's the real you, the you that you're currently is like dreaming that you're a king having to manage your kingdom, with your family and loved ones and plans of the future, only to wake up and see all of it disappear in a poof of smoke, while you're the king you give yourself the highest regard because you think it's the reality you're experiencing, when you wake up it was just a dream, and it may even disappear and be forgotten at that point.>Why would you not feel nothing but rage and discontent at some greater being that created you for nothing but its own amusementBecause you are the greater being, you don't feel rage and discontent against yourself when you play a chess game and you lose, because up until the point you knew you couldn't even draw it, you were having fun with the game, it's 99% the joy of playing, and 1% the grief of losing, don't tear your clothes apart for deciding to play that game, as the rest of it was worthwhile.>I don't get why you'd ever chose to believe such a disgusting premise or take any joy in it.I take joy in sharing my knowledge about all this, if you don't like it, you can propose changes to your group of oversouls, but since you knew about all this before entering the game, you're just playing as a character that finds all of this disgusting.
>>42829415Suffering is just another color of the palette, we live in a society where it's despised, where you're supposed to avoid it and not be sad, angry, or have any other negative feeling, you are ridiculed if you keep suffering without doing anything about it.But if you don't suffer because you suffer, if you allow yourself permission to feel the way you feel, if you use it as a contrast to know yourself, and what you like and dislike, then it'll hit different. Then you're not supposed to feel a different way, you can taste this blue like you can taste that green. You wanted to know how it felt like and this was the only way, you think nobody would choose suffering because it's the thing your ego dislikes the most, in reality the people that are the least evil are the ones that suffered the most. They don't want to make others suffer because they know how's it like, the empathize and treat others the way they would have liked to be treated. The evil ones are those that haven't suffered enough, they can do the worst things to other because they have no idea how the others are feeling like.
>>42829470>Oversoul has been around since eternity>still needs input to figure out what happy and sad isYeah, I don't buy it.
>>42829426>Like Star Trek when they use their teleportation. They get atomized and die, only for a new copy to reappear in a different area where they wanted to teleport to.This isn't canon, it could be like Futurama where when someone teleports, everyone dies, the whole universe is destroyed and ceases to exist, only for a new one to appear which is rearranged around your new location.Until someone else teleports, of course, then it's you who disappears with it all before a new one is created for them.
>>42829476There's masochists, people that derive pleasure form pain. You'd think they feel pain and enjoy it, but some feel pleasure instead of pain. How is your oversoul going to know if they're like that or not? You assume there are general events that would make everyone happy, others that would make everyone sad, but it's not like that, you don't know how you'll feel unless you live the experience. And an eternity isn't enough to experience everything, it's like the number pi, imagine an expansion that puts the next digit to the left, and the next to the right, without the dot after the 3, so you get an endless string on both sides. The present is somewhere there, and the future on the right has strings of numbers that have never happened on the left, those numbers are going to happen whether you experience them or not, so your oversoul decided to experience them and know how they feel like, because the alternative is to experience endless 0s until the next interesting string, life on earth is a really efficient way to experience novel events fast.
>>42829470A massive cope. At least you admit it takes a tremendous amount of ignorance to choose it. But again what makes you think this is so and not a gnostic prison planet type of deal?
>>42829502>an eternity isn’t enough to experience everything LmaoBut really why is it always assumed that “muh experiences” are the goal. Why isn’t simple peace? Why is it assumed the “oversoul” (lmao) has a want or desire for experience?
>>42829522Again, it's a fractal, you're as much forced to come here as you're forced to go to school, and forced to stay as much as you can't go home until the classes are over. But you can also miss a day, can't you? Last time you were sick so this time you fake being sick and avoid going?During recess your girlfriend has the idea of escaping and you're not there for the rest of the day?So school is a prison for the mind, you can find ways to avoid going and you can find ways to avoid staying, most people stay because they think that's what they're supposed to do, they stay until adulthood because they have invested so much into it, but they could have quit it at any point. The difference between this layer and the other is that time happens very slowly, you come back from school, and time seems to stop, nothing seems to be happening from one step to the next or one breath to the next, so you can wait for something to happen for eons, or you can go back to school which also includes everything pleasing you know in life. Most oversouls don't even care about this plane or would find it appealing, but if you're here you've become addicted to happenings and consequences, that the things you break stay broken, that there's a cause and effect, over there things can unbreak, effects can be undone, everything is as impermanent as in dreams, you wanted something solid to stay on, and this was the answer.
>>42829547Most dogshit analogy award ever. A school is a corporate boot camp. Made to instill obedience above all else. This fractal bullshit is just a fancy word game. So reality is infinite? So how do you know you’re not forced to be here? Why isn’t that an option. You’re telling me why I’m here. Tell me how you know me so well. You are just literally too weak to face reality.
>>42829540>Why isn’t simple peace?Because you already had as much peace as possible already.>Why is it assumed the “oversoul” (lmao) has a want or desire for experience?Because the oversouls without a desire to experience didn't come here at all, most are content without free will like leaves that fall into the river and let the current carry them. We're built differently and I know it because if it was false we wouldn't be having this conversation, you wouldn't have been born at all in the physical world, you could have felt all the joy or excitement or pleasing sensations that the human body can't even feel, but you lacked the context, a reason for having those feelings, and that requires the material world.
>>42829568And what was wrong with the peace? Why would you not want peace? The rest is you coming up with self gratifying cope post ipso facto. You don’t have a clue why you or anyone else is here you just invent a pleasing fantasy.
>>42829565>So how do you know you’re not forced to be here? Why isn’t that an option.Because the whole point of this place is free will, forcing oversouls to incarnate here would break it, you can decide when to blink and when to breath, or die instead, you're not even forced to continue living.>Tell me how you know me so well.Because all the oversouls that come here are like that, the ones that are different don't bother, it's like drinking water, I tell you you become hydrated, and you ask me how do I know that when you drink water you become hydrated.>You are just literally too weak to face reality. You haven't even told me how do you think reality is like, something about being good and going to heaven?
>>42829593So you don’t know you’re not forced to be here. You list the most tedious examples of “free will” and ignore salient impossibilities and restrictions. So you don’t know a thing about what this place is. You mention drinking water totally avoiding the question. A reality of physical insecurity, resource scarcity and entropy all ignored. You don’t know a thing about who surrounds you. It’s all a cope meant to help you sleep at night because, again, you’re too weak to face facts. So you dress them up and spew out trash. Personally, I say this world is realm controlled by some sadistic “god” or ruler. That a realm of physical insecurity, artificial scarcity, entropy, ignorance and pointless competition sets the foundations for corrupt governments and churches and the positive evil of socializing. That he demands a slave race of inferiors to worship him and his creation (both normies and cults) just to gratify his own ego. Escape is the only afterlife worth pursuing.
>>42829575>Why would you not want peace? It's not about the peace, but about the permanent feeling of not feeling anything else. When a line is flat, it doesn't matter if it's at the bottom or at the top, eternal peace is like eternal pain, that's all you feel and without contrast they're literally the same. The oversouls that want to know the difference can find that peace gains a whole new meaning only when you compare it, the biggest the contrast the larger the significance, you get in hell to appreciate heaven, or perhaps you enjoy hell and find heaven boring, the important part is all the vibration and change.Nirvana isn't even eternal peace, it's cessation of everything, not even a flat line, some oversouls come here and go there, others return to peace, others go to different planets where things are physical but much easier to experience. But we're still here because we chose the contrast, a lot can be deduced from that because we weren't the souls that were content with anything else.
>>42829607>eternal peace >is about not feeling anything >is also about feeling painYou are equating polar opposites and botching any semblance of basic reasoning. Blah blah blah you’re just projecting your own idiocy as though it’s wisdom. Go poke out your eyes to truly appreciate your sight. And to make sure if you like or don’t like poking your eyes out just to be safe. Put your hand on a burning stovetop too for the same reasons. Etc etcYou’re a clown.
>>42829603>That a realm of physical insecurity, artificial scarcity, entropy, ignorance and pointless competition sets the foundations for corrupt governments and churches and the positive evil of socializing.None of that is part of physical reality. All of that was created by humanity itself, we chose what to create and now we live in it.You like to blame some divinity in control for what people decided to do against themselves, freedom is about not interfering and allowing us to do whatever we wanted to do, you don't like it but you could have been from those that take advantage of it.Entropy and other laws are interesting, they weren't part of physical reality either, like atoms, they were imagined and retroactively became the explanation for what we perceive, reality could be a lot different if people imagined different things, but you can supply your grain of sugar by imagining a different future, though, again, if Earth becomes an easy game oversouls wanting to know how bad experiences are like will create another planet with better challenges, what we demand is their possibility, there are other planets that censor harmful actions and negative emotions, we went there and found them as saccharine-filled as kids cartoons with simple premises where you already know what's going to happen, Earth is the flip side of the coin, and you couldn't even know what this message was going to say, or if there was going to be another message, everything is a surprise, and that has us hooked.
>>42829127hi its me, the anaesthetist who put you to sleep, the surgeon is currently doing an open heart surgery on you. please remain restful until its done thanks
>>42829629Yes that is a day to day of physical reality. Do you not eat or drink? Do people not get diseases? Etc etcThere’s no way you’re this fucking stupid?Who is this humanity who chose? Can I write him a letter? How he “chose” suffering etc etc. Can you prove anyone chose anything? No it’s a massive assumption. You deny people their own dissatisfaction. All you do after that is romanticize your own midwit chaotic tendencies. Why don’t you actively pursue suffering?
>>42829615>Go poke out your eyes to truly appreciate your sight. And to make sure if you like or don’t like poking your eyes out just to be safe.>Put your hand on a burning stovetop too for the same reasons. How do you know those things would be undesirable? You know because you've felt pain. The oversouls in the flat line of peace remain ignorant, they can't imagine how pain would feel like. Also, don't they sound like monsters? They know about all the atrocious acts that happen here, and can only feel peace.Would you really want to be like them? Seeing innocent people die and feeling peace about it? We couldn't take it, and that's why we stopped feeling peace and explored the contrast.
>>42829640Retard you would need to experience some things to know they’re bad. But have you poked your eyes out? You haven’t experienced it! How do you know!? That’s the subhuman level you operate on. No oversouls don’t sound like monsters you sound like an idiot. Why would some random idiot subjecting the self to misery bother them? You’re not innocent according to your own reasoning. You choose to be here and experience this shit. You’re not special and they’re not monsters under your own worldview. You are literally contradicting yourself and I’m beginning to think you’re a bot.
>>42829649Retard subhuman idiot bot
>>42829652Not at all.I accept your concession.
>>42829658Oh my bad
>>42829638>You deny people their own dissatisfaction. They are dissatisfied to know their current situation would dissatisfy them, they had to live it to know. Here's a little secret, most people in the world are happy, or content with their situation, because of the hedonic treadmill, people get used to their current situation. And then, the people most hungry in the world are those that enjoy food the most, and the richest ones may struggle to find anything that makes them feel alive and have to explore destructive drugs or other behavior. If you're suffering, it's common to project these feelings into other people, the world seems dark if you imagine others feel as bad as you do, specially if you're depressed and don't even empathize with people who feel joy to share it, you envy them and feel bad because you'd want to feel joy as well. But that's the minority, if you swapped yourself with someone else in the world at random, chances are you'd feel bliss by tasting a great flavor, listening to their favorite tune, or getting caressed by a partner.>Why don’t you actively pursue suffering?Because I suffered enough and now I appreciate not suffering, but suffering was required for that, so now I can tell the difference.I appreciate the suffering I had because it allowed me to see the difference, and the lowest I got (the disphoric moments when I wanted to die) the highest the present moment looks in comparison.
>>42829127>but who is keeping me asleep?'Who' is doing no such thing, why would you intentionally try to keep yourself asleep forever.
>>42829664It’s okay bot. I’m sure when I used the word “bot” your programming went from idiot new ager to aggro autist. Typical.
>>42829673Bot idiot autist
>>42829670>they had to live it to know itGo poke your eyes out. Blah blah blah you’re just a coping faggot. Or a bot so full of contradictions.
>>42829649>You’re not special and they’re not monsters under your own worldview. We're not special among ourselves but we're special among the oversouls, being the only ones interested in experiencing the physical world, while the rest remained in the spiritual.I consider the evil people in the world that make others suffer monsters, so oversouls that know about the suffering and feel peace about it feel no different. Once you suffer and know how's it like you help others to avoid it, if you don't know how's it like, you don't care, which makes you a monster, like the oversouls feeling peace right now.
>>42829689Why should an oversoul be bothered by your suffering when you were stupid enough to ask for it and see utility in it?No you’re not special amongst the oversouls. By your own logic you’re the bottom of the barrel among them. Whiny bitch and moron.
>>42829715>>42829715>Why should an oversoul be bothered by your suffering when you were stupid enough to ask for it and see utility in it?Because that's the difference between the oversouls that know and the oversouls that don't, you don't care about the suffering I'd feel because you are evil, the line from here to being good requires the knowledge you're missing. If you knew what I know you'd cause suffering in others with the pretext that's what they came for, but someone that has already burned their hand on a stove don't need to do it again, they know how it's like and don't like it, if you put the hand in the stove again you'd cause their suffering unnecessarily and it'd make you a monster, just like the oversouls at peace with it.>Whiny bitch and moron. You're the one that keeps throwing insults and feel disgusted at everything I say while preferring to believe in a prison world ruled by some entity that forced us to be here.Plus, you can't tell the difference between me and a bot, and you can't tell the difference between me and some random anon calling you a bot, though, I have to thank you for being the mirror that allows the rest of the discourse to happen, there's nothing to explain if concepts aren't challenged.
>>42829747So you accepted a physical life in a realm full of predators and being open to vulnerability and I’m supposed to feel bad for you?You wanted to experience pain get it. If you’re the one who wanted helplessness get it. You could’ve hurt yourself easily if you wanted a one and done deal. You put yourself here suck it up and deal with it. You are as vain and stupid as can be seen
>>42829792I do. But you did too, and you're the one telling me to accept reality.
>>42829861No evidently you’re still bitching about the consequences of your actions and want pity from beings smarter than you. And no I didn’t chose to be here. You can’t speak for me and don’t drag me down to your level. You are a pathetic waste of space, weak minded piece of shit and deserve worse than what you’ve got.
>die>wake up>find out you were a participant in a reality TV show and it was all just a simulation>billions around the galay followed your exploits on "survive in a clown world" in real timeHow will you react?
>>42831232What's my prize?
>>42831124>alt ending has security push him down the steps and close the door. you hear a latching lock.
>>42831232well now you're just giving away a free idea that will be turned into a movie by some unscrupulous youtuber/grifter
your question cannot be answered, OP.anyone can come up with any sort of speculative answer. here let me try:>you are kept here as a prisoner to serve your sentence. when you see others who are rich and living lives of ease, it's all an illusion to make you feel shitty about yourself, part of the punishment. in fact you are pre-programmed to seek out info about these people, and compare yourself to themalso:>detach myselfyes that appears to be the best strategy. feeling sad? detach. the monks are on the money in their belief in detachment. also, if you're into hedonism, you find that women are more attracted to you if you are detached AKA aloof.
>>42833007>you are kept here as a prisoner to serve your sentence. when you see others who are rich and living lives of ease, it's all an illusion to make you feel shitty about yourself, part of the punishment. in fact you are pre-programmed to seek out info about these people, and compare yourself to themI was having this exact thought about an hour ago and I'm just now reading your post, so I think you may be on to something
>>42832992>unscrupulousWell, those are the ones using AI for something, the rest of the people remain stuck making videos slowly, like painters that refuse to use a camera to take a photograph.
>>42829127YoooooOr like... what if this IS the real world and that dream isn't real? Like... woooaaahh dude... you could totally end up detaching yourself from the real world right in front of your faggot eyes and waste your whole life away on a gay faggot hunch like a cunt bitch. That would like... totally be really fucking funny
>>42833108You must be fun at parties.
>>42833027Anon came up with that to show you that anyone can make up bullshit and choose to believe in it. You dumb fucking monkey. Stupid whore.
>>42833113The best parties are the ones where people who say shit like that die in a house fire. You know what's better than entertaining just any retarded notion that some dipshit comes up with? Using strong reasoning and a broad base of sound knowledge to think of things that don't immediately collapse upon the most basic scrutiny. That way, we're not all just engaged in a looping circle jerk over the same corny ideas, going nowhere and eroding our ability to innovate. You must love repetitive nonsense. Like parties.
>>42833123>>42833132Why are you such a dick?
>>42833228Nta butWhy are you such a pussy? Ripe for a duck to fuck?
>>42833228Because I am goddamn sick of people refusing to grow.
>>42833344Growing, like ascension, is a scam created under the learning narrative where we're supposed to better ourselves, created by people that want slaves that had become as useful as possible for their purpose, willing to apply their abilities for as least as possible, or even being volunteers because their prize is to hone their skills. As if we watched movies to evolve the spirit, nah, it's all for entertainment so nobody needs to grow.
>>42833356Wow, did you learn that somehow? Did you go from a state of not knowing that to knowing it? Your brain utilized prior information along with current information to synthesize a thought, which became memory? That's called "growth", fuckface - and it's NOT economically viable, is it? Kill yourself.
>>42833360Learning is not growing, it's just learning.
>>42833823You're going to say that learning is not a form of growth. Okay. Then you're completely alone in that... "opinion". If growth = development toward greater complexity; e.g. infant -> toddler -> child -> adult; concept -> design -> construction -> building; doodler -> artist -> pro -> master;... then: idiot -> average -> insightful -> wise = growth. Unless you need to consider "growth" to mean "improvement toward a specific false ideal" in order for your argument not to collapse into absurdity immediately. In that case, it collapses into absurdity not quite immediately, but very quickly nonetheless; because all we have to do is show that your definition is a special one that you insist on using despite other definitions being common and valid, which is obviously arbitrary and a retarded cope. Again, die. >why are you such a dick?I wonder.
>>42833948>Again, die. Will you grant me death, or are you just barking like a dog?
>>42833960Now I hate you slightly less.
>>42833027yes, the "sim as punishment" view explains why it's easy to view porn, find nudes of various actresses, why many find various actresses attractive despite them looking normal and you having a less than 0.000001% chance of ever meeting them. and even if you did meet your actress crush, she wouldn't want to fuck you anyway. "sim as punishment" also explains why parents are annoying, except in cases where they are not. personally i have annoying parents who i don't get along with. but obviously the sim can just holographically show you instances where others have cool, nice, rich parents. it's why jobs suck. again, surely there are "others" who have a great job but it doesn't matter since you are not living their life.connects with the LOA / law of attraction idea that the more you want something or someone, the more you push it away. and they say the "universe" will grant you something once you detach.think of NDE claims of refusing to enter the light tunnel. if you are fully detached you win by not wanting to go back. now imagine if all this shit is true, they give you the option of going back into the light tunnel to re-play the life you just lost, tempting you that if you make the right choices you'll get to experience a dfiferent outcome. the attached will take the deal. the detached will say no. i don't know what happens if you say no, maybe you get to go somewhere better than back "here". i hope reincarnation/neitzschean return is not true.
>>42835071this reality has so many layers, like an onion, like hell.if you're poor you're either working or not. if you're not, you're bored due to having nothing to do, also you are saddled with other shit. if you're working you're basically a prisoner of your job for 8 hrs a day and deal with the stress of that, the repetition. but at least you get paid.if you're a father and husband, you deal with yet another 2 layers, interfacing with your kids and wife, all that responsibility. i don't know it myself first hand but i saw it second-hand by observing my dad. now factor in if you work at a company with at least one hot woman, that's more temptation. or if you happen to meet a stranger, a customer, whatever. and things aren't going well with your wife. or the money. etc. life is actually very complicated and stressful unless all the variables are smoothed out with wealth and power. even trump/melania look to be in trouble ever since that pic of loomer pressing her tit against trump was revealed. but that was 1-2 years ago, and i'm venturing into gossipland. but all this time we were told trump is a billionaire yet now it's revealed he made even more billions during his 2nd term. genius or grifter? who knows. but his offspring are set and probably not wondering about why life sucks like we are. maybe they are in the "sim as reward" version. we're all in the same reality, but playing different mini-games. maybe i'm being punished while others are being rewarded. it would make for an efficient open-world game to have both. and those who are punished rarely interact with the rewarded, unless you work as a waiter in beverly hills or something.anyway, some dude wrote about "circles of hell" and it became a really popular story/concept. i forget his name, dante? never read it.
