In this thread we discuss the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and their ceremonies. LDS performs rituals in their temples where they believe they learn about creation, the story of Adam and Eve, the fall of man, and perform prayers that they think heal the sick and needy. In the temple, they learn that gods name is elohim. They believe that Adam and Eve performed an incantation (O God, hear the words of my mouth! O God, hear the words of my mouth! O God, hear the words of my mouth!) whereby god responded by sending his servants to Adam and Eve. They call this the true order of prayer. They learn that they will be gods and that god was once a man and once was not god. They take on a new “temple name” (mines was Enoch), and they believe that in the new earth you will known by your temple name. What else can we find out?
