In my timeline I learned what a cornucopia was by seeing it everywhere each thanksgiving throughout my early childhood. It was one of the most prevalent symbols associated associated with the holiday (thankful for a good harvest). I specifically remember my younger cousin asking me what it was, and me gleefully informing her. I also was able to tell her what a gourd was. I felt cultured for a brief moment.I'm shocked so many Americans don't remember a similar experience, and instead claim they found out via spontaneous underwear logo discussions.
