I wouldn’t know where to start because of how long I’ve operated like this. There’s things like how he’s continued believing that I’m a nepo-baby over the span of 10+ years while I’d lived in poverty and my father was stealing money from me for rent, didn’t notice the neglect because I suppose he never questioned why I was so thin, different assaults, betrayals from our family, friends, peers, etc. A lot of this wasn’t necessarily his business, but it was going on under his nose. Our lives both have gone through major upswings, so perhaps it’ll be time to confront the past somewhat soon together once my mind is organized and I stop shuddering at the thought of going back in time.
