i was too young to understand what was happening on the tv when the planes hit the towers, but a few years later we got a computer in the house and i ended up searching as much as i could about the attacks and the towers themselves. now all this was relatively normal for an autist with an internet connection, but i began recreating the attack and collapse of the towers with things like legos and paper, eventually making and painting a model of the towers out of old newspapers that i could pull a sting on to collapse. then i discovered the movie "twister" in my grandma's vhs tapes, and i had the brilliant thought of making a paper tornado to tie to a ceiling fan so i could knock over the twin towers with it. nobody in my family ever knew anyone affected by 9/11 so they never really cared, but its really weird thinking back that nobody ever said anything to medid anyone else experience something similar?

>>42848564this was the near the height of my party phase. out all night, sleep all day. i specifically remember my dad trying to wake me up, to watch it on tv. who knows what i was on back then, so i was out cold. i didnt actually watch it live. i watched the replays. but i remember my dad all upset, yelling, "the world could come to an end, and this moron would still be asleep!".a couple years later, watching all the truther videos, was a little jarring. like, up until then, you could ignore a lot of what the "crazies" were saying about the government, big pharma, military industrial complex, etc, but to me, 9/11 was proof. thats when i became one of the "crazies". fast forward to 2026, all the conspiracy theorists, arent looking so crazy anymore.
