How accurate is this anon when it comes to occult books that actually matter?
>No Manly P. Hall>No Agrippa>The KybalionShitty list.
>>42886222Hall belongs in a slightly nicer garbage can than the one the Kybalion is in.
>>42886216It's pretty shit.
>>42886216If you actually looked at what he recommends, most of the books are, or are from, yoga lmao. If you want to know and do yoga, And learn hermetic practices, And understand magic, Ivlivs Evola writes about it all.

Thank you.
>>42887895No
>>42886216It's missing fundamentals like Tao te Ching. How good can it really be?What website is that? Or is that an archive.
>>42887935>NoThought so. Carry on...
Franz BardonGurdjieffJulius EvolaThere I saved you 10 years of looking around
>>42886216General info on how to approach "Grimoires" overall; Grimoires are always meant to be read as "Codebooks/Puzzle-books"; where you're looking for "something other than 'literal interpretations' in the text". Instead you're looking for stuff like Alchemical formulae; and similar type of "metaphysical information" in any Text within said genre of occult books. Note Occult books to have 2 distinct Genres: -Occult Theology/Philosophy: and -Grimoires Being two different genres; the first being "books discussing Theology/philosophy within The Occult; often 'Commenting on things we have found through Decyphering Grimoires so far in the world. -Grimoires, being "Code-books/Puzzle-books of Non-human origins; meant to be Decyphered by those with an interest; A large amount of irl Occult Praxis overall is based on "Decyphering said kinds of books". Real Grimoires are part of "The mysteries of the universe"; said kinds of books have very often "never been fully decyphered by humanity yet"; due to not being human-written.
>>42888292ie overall, study the world as "RNG-generated"; "Conceptually generated; 'procedual generation of content"; Study pictured "Dwarf Fortress world generation screen"; and assume that the real world map was generated through similar types of 'RNG generate a playable map'. Grimoires are "stuff that exists in the world for those who wants to learn more behind the scenes stuff"; being how "behind the scenes information is presented to the public"; by Grimoire books generated from "Qliphothic Root/seed structures" (note "The Qliphoth" to be The serpents tree of knowledge in Genesis"). So to get involved in Occult Praxis; find a book that looks like a "proper Grimoire"; ie "something generated in dense Puzzle/Code-languague, full of Sigils to decypher"; and work on "trying to decypher it"; You'll notice how said books have very 'interactive functionality'; 'Guiding Familiar Spirits' assisting you in the Decyphering; trying to explain stuff when you start noticing said kinds of guidance.
>>42887895>Can you provide a few examples of how this knowledge/practice materially improved your life? Thank you.THIS. So many LARPers here
>>42886216>99.9999% of the shit out there is pure garbageThat's literally every field though, not just occultism.
>>42886216It's accurate. I had the same experience as Nietzsche anon here. Most materials are useless or produced by larpers. Not that Bardon or Atkinson are the pinnacle, but that's beside the point which is practice. Most occult schools of thought would rather indoctrinate you with their version of the 'truth' than teach anything substantial. My own recommendation would be to learn astral projection, yoga and chi cultivation.
>>42887895>improved your lifelol lmao! you have to DO shit actually, reading alone won't help
>>42889557Im not that guy but that's exactly what he asked. Practice/materially
>>42886216I have tried this path and have read the books up to and including Mind Power. Despite what everybody else here will tell you, I think these books are good for introducing Occult Philosophy to the average modern human. I also made progress up to that point, but I got stuck and switched my approach to the Golden Dawn after that, which has allowed me to continue making progress. The problem i see with Atkinsons method is two-fold. Firstly, it strips away most of the symbols and symbolism of magic ritual. This makes the topic initially easier digestible, but it bereaves you of the tools to make easy and efficient workings. This directly plays into the second problem i ran into: there is no outlined path of purification, as far as I came. You are supposed to start out as a mentally and morally well-adjusted individuum without bigger trauma, and make responsible and reasonable use of your divine powers after a few introductory lessons. If you are posting on 4chan, I can assume that you are not, and this will hinder your progress immensely. If Bardon has exercises and rituals for that, i cannot say.
