At the end of the latest episode they just had Fry randomly die and then DIDN'T bring him back to life at the end of the episode, they left him dead. Part of his skull fell off exposing his brain and he died. You can't do that, it casts a curse upon the actor (in this case voice actor), who will then die soon after from a similar cause (something to do with the brain in this case). Especially if the actor is already old, like Billy West (pic related. the voice of Fry and over half the other Futurama characters like Zoidberg, Professor, Zapp Brannigan, Nixon, etc).So just keep an eye out on Billy West. Also if he dies the show is over, they can't replace all the characters he voices.
The reason the curse is more effective on old people is not only because their aura (or whatever) is weaker but because public consciousness already thinks "they're old so they could die soon" so if you put that message into a show, everyone starts thinking about that person's death at the same time, and it manifests.
