I'd say that this spread is more clear than the one I pulled before, although, it's kind of tricky because one might take the last card as a "yes, he will". My answer is no, or at least, it's unlikely that he will. 2 of Wands Rx seem to shed some light on how the conversation might have been handled or how he is treating the whole thing. I don't personally believe i am communicating with "something" per se. I believe when you ask a question (even if you just think about it) the results of the sortilege you are using become entangled with the event in question.

To go deeper we'd have to talk about magick, physics, reality, ect. What do I know, really? but the reason I dont believe we are actually communicating with a being is because the "replies" lack personality, even if we tend to anthropomorphize everything, there's no nuance to the answers.

Say if you ask wether you should do something, often you'll get a no even if the result would be actually positive, if its not the best or objectively better to most alternatives, what we are "communicating" with might talk and point something else you dont even know and ergo becomes an irrelevant answer, because what replied didnt have any nuance.

Also, because its an interesting topic. If we take at face value that we are communicating with a being, it would be easier to discard possible candidates than to find the correct one.

For example, demons would be difficult if we go by the three major abrahamic religions, only God is omniscient. Its of course more nuanced than that, but at a fundamental level the demons would be a third party and the answer would come from God or at least anything that is known and not just predicted.

One key aspect to take into account is that whatever being it would be, it would also have to be able to read minds. Something again, not exactly demonic although demons do have an extradimensional level of perception and superhuman experience so they can very accurately predict thoughts and reactions, they cant exactly read or control the mind (free will). Even in possession victims claim to still be able to silently pray for example.
