Why is Kether associated with nothingness? Before the tree of life depiction sefira were depicted as concenctric rings aka hollow spheres or shells (qlippoth). Some say the earth and perhaps even the universe is a hollow shell (ice?). The outer darkness is made out to be a bad place by the jew god of the bible yaldabaoth but maybe thats just because he hates what he cant understand. Even as a kid I would try to imagine what was outside of the edge of infinity. Is it the true (Source) or True God, or just another hollow shell, ad infinitum?

God has to be the “God of Non-being” because even where there is nothing, there is yet God.
Think in terms of our pop science:
If you accept the heat death theory, then you must accept that there is a point in the future where all energy has been completely distributed, and on this environment you cannot possibly measure time.
This being the case because our understanding of time is inextricably tied to material and its rate of decay. And so once material has ceased all distinction, then time will have effectively ceased as well.
So then what can exist outside of the bounds of time and matter?

Nothing can.

But yet.. God can.

Or to pose the question more openly:
Is there anything that can exist outside of space and time?
Well, the one thing that we cannot say is absolutely tied to matter and time is the mind/a consciousness.
So we can say that there is at LEAST the potential for a timeless, immaterial, ultimate consciousness, that dwells even in nothingness.

The possibility is there, but what actually makes such a thing plausible?
Argumentative types will argue things like fine tuning, but the reality is much more simple:
All action is reaction, but infinite regression tells us that there must be a first actor, therefore the question becomes what can we deduce about this potential first actor?
That this first actor exist(ed) in nothingness, and at least once said “be” to creation.
That is all.
Any guesswork about his intentions or wants is just that. Guesswork.
