I don't even know why I'm posting this, I'm just screaming out into the void. Anyways...I am tired of almost all "occult" or "paranormal" content being a regurgitation of the same few (often misunderstood) principles over and over again, and with every iteration becoming less and less coherent. I have burned myself out with every noteworthy /x/ or occult related piece of YouTube content. Yet here I am again, scraping the surface of the internet hoping I will come across something I have yet to consume or dismiss. The rampant amount of contradictory information along with the infighting that this causes is surely come kind of obfuscation method. The concept of occultism being self occulting isn't lost on me. What seemingly may be useful for one person may be completely useless to another, for instance, I found the Kybalion disappointing.
>>42894322I mean, it's really about what you like. Are you a David Icke type, or more tantric buddhism? Not every book fits everyone.
>>42894350I have no interest in eastern spiritual practices at the moment and despise Icke. He has cause more damage to the study of legitimate occultism than almost anyone I can think of off the top of my head.
>>42894358So why you're even asking? How should we know what interrests you?
>>42894368I am waiting for people to post stuff. You dont need to know, I am simply looking to see what ends up in this thread.

>>42894405Very nice, this is what I was looking for, granted I am very familiar with almost all of those individuals. Thank you.
Stop spamming this thread.
>>42894322>/X/Lurk a lot moar, newfag. The image you posted isn't even from 4chan.
>>42894322The Way of Hermes (which is print edition of lots of old hermetic texts)Tao Te Ching and Neiye (older Taoist text)Most Evola honestly works here. The classics of Plato and Aristotle are honestly important, especially given that Platonism is the basis for a lot of later Western occult thought. Aristotle's De Anima is also pretty foundational to understanding Western conceptions of souls. Also since this is /x/, for UFO books, Jacques Vallee is great, Passport to Magonia is one of my favorites.
>>42894322heres another list i had saved. but basically from what i read imagination is real and made out of the same substance as physical reality and you can focus it like a projector. or another common thing is that there is magic sexual energy and something good will happen if you do nofap then imagine that energy going up through your spine and bath your brain, imagine it as white smoke. its all chunibyo stuff
did you even try to read anything since the last time you posted that thread, you spastic?
>>42894322Bumping in hopes for a good book to learn energy work
>>42894322Stalking the Wild Pendulum by Itzkhak Bentov would be my recommendation as far as books go. Guy was on to something with his ideas of what consciousness is/how it works.
>>42895729Yeah, but you can also imagine that energy being released when you orgasm, and benefit more because on a night you may only "nofap" once, as in "that night I 'nofapped'", but if you fap three times in a row, you get three times the energy.
