I don't post on /x/ much if at all, but I don't know where else to ask for help, so here we go.Pic related is a crude recreation of my "flat". The scale is far from accurate but it'll do. This started three nights ago, when, at about 2 am, I heard what sounded like loud footsteps running in the gap between my sofa/bed, and the adjacent wall. Looking there, of course, I found nothing. As soon as I looked, the running noises resumed from my bathroom. After grabbing a kitchen knife and hyping myself up, I checked the bathroom only to find it empty. At this point I was creeped out so I turned on all the lights and stayed up until about 4 am. During this period nothing happened, so I turned off the lights and went to sleep. As soon as I laid down, the running noises resumed, this time coming from behind the wall to the right of my bed. I waited it out, and they stopped.Night 2 was more of the same.Night 3, and the reason I am writing this went different. The noises once again started at about 2 am, but they stopped right after waking me up instead of continuing like the first two nights. A strong blue light was coming from behind the bathroom door, but it was totally silent. I was too much of a chicken to investigate and just stayed under the covers, and the light went away on its own after about 5 minutes.Stuff I've already ruled out:-Schizophrenia.Nobody in my family has a history of mental illness and neither do I. Weird shit only happens in this apartment and nowhere else I go.-Rats, cockroaches, pests in generalI've heard what rats scurrying around in the night sounds like. This didn't sound like that, it sounded like grown men running around at full speed. It also doesn't explain the light.So, any suggestions for tonight? Anything I should try if it repeats? My working theory is that it is the ayys fucking with me since I remember reading about anons seeing strange blue lights like the one I saw before being kidnapped by them.

You are not the first one to experience this in the UK, there is something strange happening during those early morning hours in more than one location in the UK each night. Do not ever leave your flat during those hours. Are you on ground floor or higher??

Somebody could feasibly climb in, but not without making a lot noise during it. Besides, I keep all my windows shut past sunset anyway.

I could move if it proves to be the only solution but I'd rather not as looking for a new place to stay would be a pain, and I already paid a lot of the rent in advance.

Just be careful. Maybe clean the room with clorine cleaner to desinfect everything. Pray for a bit, evil spirits don't like it. I saw a documentary about the Las Vegas tunnels and two dudes said that sometimes they hear people walking next to them but noones there. So possibly other beings. That's why you should mark the room as your territory based on your like customs.
