My guess is that the main purpose of Scientology is to function as another avenue for money laundering. Hollywood doesn't really NEED an official cult dedicated to Jewish/Satanic shit and child trafficking since that shit goes on anyway. According to Wikipedia though, some former members have likened Sea Org to a paramilitary organization which is kind of...odd. Maybe the military structure just makes it easier to indoctrinate kids? Before I begin, no, im not a scientologist nor am I am a part of some shadowy/proxy organization. My profession requires that I oversee and unfortunately cater to some of their members who happen to be amongst a specific cohort that I am hired to be around.To put it simply, they arent just a cult. At the top level, through secular branches of their organization they are basically an elitist group of con men who work for the government. Their tactics are pretty open but at a surface level beyond their guise is they are essentially a human trafficking organization. Not in the sense they kidnap people, at least the normal members, but they legally strip you of your rights bit by bit, level by level. On said legal grounds, you basically enter into indentured servitude and the only way out is to basically drink the cool aid so to speak.At some point you no longer see it as a cult but rather a parasitic organization that relentlessly pursues you because of this crab bucket system of entrapment that occures. Their teaching are basically a mesh of every main religious teaching and their components, reiterated into a futuristic/sci-fi story. The reason theyre so good at tricking people is because its stuff they are familiar with and are given a more "understandable" picture that fits any preexisting narrative. They make you feel loved, wanted, needed and go for people who lack such things in life.The reason why they aren't talked about is because at the top level, theyre in bed with literally every name under the sun, such as the mormons, the "jews", evangelists, etc etc. They're a pet project by these massive spider web of organizations. What I will agree with is their power and pull has gotten weaker over the years with the death of their original founders. The unfortunate part is that a large portion of their members are generational so I could see a rise in their membership if they continue to exist for the next ten years. The thing is when youre easily ridiculed and a laughing stock, you tend to blend into the woodwork and arent taken as a serious threat.
