They sought to understand why so many gods were just one god with a different name. Many texts have been produced over time, and we have come to the age where this unserstanding will be inevitable amongst the people. Once the pattern is understood a story emerges.All religion came from Nobility. The Kings of this world carry what is called a Divine Right to Rule. This word "Divine" means something much simpler in explanation than what people generally associate with it. It ultimately means passed on from advanced others. This is the same for all races, and all divinely inspired relgions. Let me demonstrate;You wouldn't think that the Chinese myths would have any connection to the Abrahamic myths. On the surface this seems like it couldn't be true, and yet it is. In fact, the parts of their story that their nobility wove into myth are identical. They have gods called Fuxi and Nuwa, who made mankind from clay, and after a Great Sky Dragon destroyed the world, they retaught civilization.They have other myths with more numerous cinnections but this is the important one. What the Chinese nobles were saying is the world was destroyed, and their ancestors became tasked by the gods to rule mankind.It gets more interesting becaise when you break down comparative mythology you start to fully understand what is ultimately a very simple story.There are only 5 main gods that make up what we call archetypes. These archetypes and their roles make up every divine story ever told on this planet. You start by naming the archetype as a category, rather than what the story says.
