The most powerful and sustaining emotion is longing, actually. That's why so much is out of reach nowadays for people; housing, opportunity, health, hope, romance, love, faith. It's intentional. The most insidious part about it is that longing compounds with the other emotions incredibly well; longing for freedom, longing for love, longing for suffering to end. It's ingenious in its cruelty. The world is run by energy vampires, if that wasn't obvious already. We're being farmed.
