Even if you're 100% calm and collected in the moment, that's more a survival mechanism and you'll likely look back on even non-threatening shit afterwards with a kind of 'omfg wtf was that' attitude, like some kind of ptsd trying to work itself out of your system. It rattles your sanity when you acknowledge such things, but it's better than cope. I've had a couple coping coworkers and it just gives massive bitch vibes, they never last more than 2-3 years.
