Duality is to distinguish between source and void, non duality is to realize void can only be accessed through source.

>>42924733Duality description: an Ugly vs Beautiful faceNonduality description : a face which approaches a symmetrically averaged appearance versus one which is highly divergent from the norm.Of course this example only holds for traditional beauty standards, but it does illustrate the general concept. Non-duality is taking an apparent dichotomy and stating it in non-relationally defining terms.
Absolute rock n roll
>>42924733Being or manifestation arises from non-being (which isn't the void/nothingness but only what hasn't been manifested). Non-being cannot be unified with being, as it can't "be one". Therefore talking about Oneness or Unity isn't as precise, since it excludes non-being. It is crucial to not ommit non-being (which you can describe as pure impossibility too) since being and existence arise from non-being, since non-being is permanent and being only temporary. Using negative terms is the closest way that our limiting language can grasp such planes, see negative theology. In that sense, it is clearer to say that there is no duality (between being and non being first and foremost, but also, by analogy, between manifestation and non-manifestation, matter and spirit, evil and good...) instead of just talking about unity.
