It doesn't make sense to sand an unconventional mind into an NPC mold because nobody is actually 1:1 with the mold to begin with. >>42932402holy synchronicityi'm about to read picrel. i first heard of Shadowrun due to the 2007 game (i heard it's not very accurate, but it was an online only arena shooter with abilities). i don't know anyone who plays the tabletop game. i was considering playing one of the games as well. i've been really into Philip K Dick as well. The cyberpunk + magic aspect of Shadowrun i found intriguing. I don't know anything about it which is why i got that book. there was also some other cyberpunk i was planning on reading eventually.

I've been getting a lot of synchronicities and accidental manifestations lately. Seems like there's some sort of psychic connection between people, especially online. Like it's getting very strange. Youtubers i follow will post videos about things that happened to me that day or a few days before. It's like we're all on the same wavelength. May be it's just the algorithm, but it seems like there's a mind-cyber connection at the end of this. I used to get the classic recycled video from years ago being served to me when it's relevant, but now it's real people posting videos the day it happens. I also wonder if some of this isn't almost like precognition without the actual awareness. Feels like there has got to be more to it than just an algorithm. That's why i really like PKD and the magic + sci fi combo is really appealing to me and why Shadowrun seemed very intriguing to me.
