How do I improve my vision or maintain it?
AMD
Age-related Macular Degeneration.
Macular Degenration is a disease, but it is also the term used for aging people who lose their vision over time.
>t. aging Anon
Can you fix your vision?
I'd like to be a pilot but pilots need perfect vision...

i saw an infograph on here some time ago i have been looking for. i remember it saying you can strength each eye by wearing an eyepatch for a day and alternating

I finally got glasses at 30. They weren't a Huge improvement but they did help for the smallest text at a distance, but I'd get non prescription glasses for the blue light filter alone
Ever since I have been using my glasses, my vision has gotten worse. A lot worse.
I have always wondered if using my glasses made my eyes atrophy...
or some other causation related to using my glasses.
The eye patch sounds interesting.

I don't drink, smoke, or use drugs.
Most of what I eat does not come from a box.
What else would cause a liver issue? Besides being alive.

>wear an eyepatch over one eye while you work on the computer or do whatever you do all day. every 30 min switch the eyepatch to the other eye. in one month of this you’ll think someone put contact lenses on you in your sleep. look up how they advise fixing a lazy eye: wearing an eyepatch
There ain't no way this actually works.

any tips for visual floaters? they showed up after doing LSD-25 one summer and never went away. never got worse either, just there for years now. optometrist couldn't detect anything, said they're normal wtf. carrot juice didn't do anything. pineapple juice didn't do anything. greco-egyptian image magick never got around to trying, couldn't find the right plant leaf or afford an engraver back when I read the Sacred Book of Hermes to Asclepius. any cool tips?

Eyes need infra-red light.
Fluorescent/LED does not have it.
Use incandescent lights in the evening. Don't need a lot of light, but should be in your field of view like fire or candles would be.

Don't have a paranormal answer.
If you think about the eye like a muscle it needs to be exercised in different ways to be healthy. Focusing on very small details and ranging up to big landscapes is a great way.
Look at your hands, really look at them. The feint veins, now the texture of those veins, the imperfections, the tiny bit of dirt under your nail. You can do this with any object.
I attribute it to the reason why I'm 34 but still have healthy vision despite working in front of a screen all day, I never atrophied my vision for too long.
Lot of ball sport athletes don't need glasses, they're constantly bringing the ball in and out of focus, baseball players are a great example, they have the trained eye for it.

Oh.
Oh no.
That's actually Really bad for me.
I have had a hunch that I still had a gut at 14% bmi because i was always stressed and the constant cortisol would not let go of the visceral fat I've had since at least 8.
But didn't think it was worse than that.
I quit my job that made me unhaooy but I'm still steessed/on constant high alert, always, and maybe even forever...

Interesting.
Inhad a second gen haoa gf who was uber sick with a flu once.
for weeks.
nothing helped.
her first gen Mongolian mom took her to a Chinese acupunctureist.
Pricked my GFs finger.
Apparently
1. the prick oain was Excruciating
2. a thick BLACK denze goo oozed out
She was better within 24 hours.
Couldn't fix her BPD sadly....

Thank you

I've heard an exercise where you look away from your screen and at a far analog clock like on donw a hallway at school but any distsnt obect, and focus on it.
I need to do more exercises like you described and it's oart of why I go days without wearijg my orescriotion glasses - to force my eyes to do the work instead of the glasses.
Similarly it sounds like eyes could atrophy being assited by a prescription all day.

Oh shit, this is exactly my experience and theory. picrel

Anon here talks about it as well.

this pic
not the eye lengthening but that glasses make your vision worse if used permanently/more often than not.
