Almost everything I see against the New Age spirituality movement is from fundamentalist Christians attacking it for obvious reasons. A lot of its reputation comes from elaborate campaigns from Christianity to make it look bad

Does anyone here practice or have experience with New Age spirituality and belief systems that really believes it works and is real and benefits their lives?

I think the Christian critique of new age is silly, but I have my own problems with it. A lot of is rooted in real ideas, but it is watered down to be completely ineffective. It's nonsense for normies. And it's filled with grifters. That's why I always take those new age to Christian conversations with a grain of salt. If they were grifting before, the conversion is also probably a grift.

New age is just repackaged esoteric religions. There’s a lot of good new age stuff from RA, Seth, Dolores Cannon, etc
Some garbage glowie misinfo too
>>
I don’t know anything about the new age movement but from what I understand is it doesn’t demand anything from anyone. Very silly
>>

My biggest issue with the movement and honesty most religion in general is this à la carte way people selectively pick and choose what they want to believe. That's not religion, that's not beliefs, that's window shopping and simply choosing what you want
I'm not saying that's necessarily wrong, if it makes you happy and you find benefits in your life as a result. But imagine a religion that was revealed from God as the "true" religion and you said "I'm only going to follow the parts I like and ignore the rest". Then you wouldn't get into heaven or whatever
>>
>>42932081
It really feels like religion for people who don't actually believe anything
>>

>>42932122
Sounds based. I think I want to join now
>>
>>42932119
That is the best way to construct a worldview, but you also have to have a strong filter because 80% of most things is nonsense. That's where people run into issues. They're not good a discerning what parts to pick. That is the strength of an established religion for a normie, because it's all been done for you. If a true metaphysical reality exists, you would expect to observe it in many places, because it would be universal. Thus many practices from different traditions can be based in that metaphysical reality. The exclusive truth claim and divergence from the shared metaphysical observations of other traditions is what makes me doubt Christianity. It's the outlier and makes the claim that everyone else is wrong.

Isn't there a new age movement every age?
>>
>>42932011
Anti-New Agers are glowies.
>>
>>42932293
This tracks. All abrahamic traditions are control-and-fear-based and glowies seethe because New Age is just an easier way for normies to get to the Truth, instead of needing to study the esoteric traditions.
>>
>>42932324
Yeah but the new age is filled with a lot of false information, nonsense, and grifters. I think glowies are also contributing to that. The esoteric is still the real stuff, but they made everyone either belive it's not real or that it's evil and scary.
So now most people are either New Agers, Abrahmics, Atheist Materialists, or witches. That's by design. The path of the magician is almost never traveled.
>>
>>42932122
More like for people who don't want to spend time and dedicate themselves to any practice, self-inquiry, or just exploring living by themselves and need someone to explain them universe lore so they can feel like they have grasped the mysteries of life. Also a convenient tldr and mash up of multiple traditions for people who don't want to actually read any ancient text. Add to that the "healing/trauma" obsession of the times and new age provides a ton of parapsychological practices.
>>
>>42932045
It's because it was/is an intelligence OP. Christians are most against it because they were most aware ofnits affect on their communities. And naturally so, Christianity was the backyard religion of the United States when this operation began, of course they would be the most affected simply by way of proximity and the methods of broadcast and information gathering at the time. Books published by CIA subsidiaries, celebrities, advertisements, school curriculums, now people confuse it with secularism all the time, which it isn't because it is something very axiomatic pretending to be a portal to personal spirituality. Slave making shit.

It changed a lot in the 60's. All the liberal/leftist/socialist ideas of that time festered inside the "new age" movement.
Before that there was much more race and gender realism in many of the philosophies being promulgated, which is totally taboo now.
Try reading some material from the 30's or earlier. At the very least it's much more intellectually demanding that the touchy-feely fluff that passes for "spirituality" nowadays.

Aye. Real spirituality blackpills on materialism. And one of those blackpills one has to swallow is realism. Wether in race or other.
Not a single one initiator of great religion has been woman or homo. And again, all real religion blackpills about this wretched material world. Not a single prophet has said we will be happy in this world. Back to home, back to Godhead

Good book recommendations? I read this but its just a regurgitation of The Kybalion. I'm looking for a book which gives suggestions and examples of application instead of theory.

Mark Passio talks about it a bit and I think he’s right. Some of it is good and rooted in esoteric tradition, but a lot of it is watered down on purpose to obfuscate and render it either slow, incomplete, or useless. Definitely paid grifters and bad actors used to mislead people. Some of it has to be left legit and “work” or it would be fully discarded.
Christians dislike it for the reasons other anons have mentioned and also because Christians think everything that is not Christianity is demons and scary

New age is spirituality for women. Most of them lack the responsibility and judgement side of spirituality that is necessary to grow, so they choose the wooo-wooo nonsense soup of esoteric movements and worship stupid figures like lucifer instead.
>>
>>42932011
>Christian fundamentalists
Yeah, because we know Islamists are so tolerant of this stuff.
>elaborate campaigns
What would they be doing it for? Crazy bitches like yourself are all people need to give you a "bad press".

I'm not a christian fundamentalist. I dislike New Age because most of them are charlatans. And luciferians in denial (Blavatsky, Alice Bailey connection).

Gay shit for Gay people and women.

The deep state is at ease with new age. Eckart Tolle, new age writer number one, was invited and interviewed 4 times by Oprah Winfrey.
What the deep state fear, is radical, non mediated, class struggle from the proles themselves.
Anything that is non violent, and non directed against (((them))), they are okay with. That's why they were cool with the hippie movment, because it was peace and love. Flower power. And new age is individualist.

Kybalion is not new age, but new thought. The only new ager that i can stand (i don't know all of them though) is Vadim Zeland. He theorized and conceptualized manifestation, with a method.

In the US Muslims are basically a non factor, it's the Christian retards you have to worry about

This. Christians often miss the mark when critiquing these people. The Lucis Trust - UN connection is real, as is Crowley to Rhodes. Timothy Leary and Burroughs to the CIA for the American psychedelia too.

In many ways, New Age rhetoric is a tool to keep the British empire still an empire covertly. Empires morphed to banks, and think tanks, empires of the mind.
>>
though there are accurate easily definable new age stereotypes and it's been thoroughly psy-oped, weaponized and commodified, the general notions that people can find their own path, that humans can find their wholesomeness and be viable without organized religion, and that you can mix and match worldviews to find the version that resonates with you, all that's good. Demonizing new age is stupider than demonizing christianity, which at least tells people they're inherently broken in order to justify itself. some like bdsm, its a phase. its more of an npc vs everybody else issue than a worldview judgement.

I've started reading The Secret Doctrine by Blavatsky but here's somethings I keep in mind whilst reading:
1) Blavatsky ran a magazine called 'Lucifer' so yeah, pretty on the nose.
2) C. W. Leadbeater most certainly practiced black magic, and was a pedophile that wanted to make an Indian twink the Messiah (gay)
3) As far as I can gather, Koot Hoomi and that Morya master guy probably were fake or charlatans of some sort.
Though, I've heard a compelling case for nephilim descedants to live in remote mountain ranges, so who knows.
4) Pretty much everyone after Blavatsky claimed a bunch of nosense that never came true, particularly in relation to the Messiah.

So yeah, if they wanted to created a spiritual movement in earnest, why the sketchy faggotry? I only engage with Theosophy from a place of research and I recommend others to do the same. Pic related, as OP states, attacks Theosophy from a very Christian perspective, but that said, he does make some reasonable criticisms.

>That's not religion, that's not beliefs, that's window shopping and simply choosing what you want
yeah that's how faith should actually work. Individually thinking about and reasoning out your PERSONAL beliefs instead if indoctrinating yourself into a whole mystery package and having to commit even if you have questions about shit.
>>

Supreme response. In exoteric traditions (normie religion, basically), God has been externalized and you pray to/worship an external source that hopefully gives you shit. In the esoteric, God is accessed and found within and this requires work which normies are unwilling to do because it’s hard and sports are on.
