I've had many strange dreams and experiences as a child that I sometimes remember randomly years later. But one memory or maybe a dream? has always stood out because I still have no idea how to explain it.I was no older than four, maybe five at most. I remember holding my uncle's hand while we were walking through the snow. Then I remember seeing a polar bear.I was scared when I saw it, but my uncle didn't seem surprised at all. He recognized the animal and calmly explained that polar bears and humans had some sort of understanding: if you didn't get close to them, they wouldn't bother you, (which turned out to be true with eskimo people after i googled it a few days later)That conversation has stayed with me ever since. The strangest part is that I grew up in the Middle East, and my family didn't have access to the internet at the time. I was only four or five years old. So how would I have even known what a polar bear was? Before writing this, I looked into the weather from around that period and discovered that it actually did snow in in that place during that time. There is even footage online showing the snowfalls, and the bear fact is a true fact that happens in real lifeI know childhood memories can change over time, and it's possible that a dream, something I saw on television (maybe?), although this memory i could recall every year of my life with the same detailBut I still find it strange.how could a 4 year old know with no internet access know a real life fact about an animal they never knew existed in just a "dream"
