Why does this happen? I often have very SPECIFIC "synchronicities" happen. To give you an example: I research at night specifically about at home euthanization for sick pets and the very next day an old channel I follow on Youtube uploads a video out of nowhere where the owner shows how his pet gets euthanized at home and him crying how doing this at home is really important to him. I have never seen anyone I follow in my life euthanize their pet in a video for anyone to see.

The list could go on.

But no matter what happens, no matter how specific and uncanny the synchronicity is or how magical it appears, it never leads to ANYTHING. Like it just happens, nothing follows or is revealed, and then disappears. So why does this keep happening? I am sure it happens to other people all the time too.

Yeah, I agree. The synchronicities will be oddly specific - too specific to ignore sometimes. But I don’t know how to interpret them. They’re either too bizarre or, as you say, they don’t lead to shit. Might just be a way for the universe to acknowledge that it sees that you’re paying attention more and becoming more conscious. Aka keep going. Totally unsatisfying answer, I know, but that might just be it (?)

That does seem the most logical. But then again, I don't really feel that I get more conscious in a way that really matters. I have researched the paranormal, life after death and all that since I'm a child and nothing really came out of it.

Also very interesting to me to see this confirmed in other people, that you also notice this phenomena and feel it doesn't lead to anything or is too bizarre!

Yeah. For the last month and a half, I’ve noticed a pattern: whenever I check the clock, almost half the times it’s right on the hour. Like it’ll be 2:00pm or 6:00pm exactly. Not a synchronicity per se, but a newly emergent pattern that wasn’t there before. And it feels weird when I see it. Probably doesn’t mean shit and I don’t know what to do with it. But when a new pattern emerges, you gotta question why…

>more conscious
try changing what you have then?

Weird, I was looking up euthanasia like an hour ago. Not solely that, but still weird.

So here's my story. I've been reading and watching all sorts of stuff on synchronicities for the past 6 years, and there is no conclusive answer on what they mean.
Mind you: synchronicities do not mean something entirely dependent on your perception: like starting noticing specific car model on roads immediately after you start thinking about buying one.

In my case: I noticed several weird coincidences - mostly having to do with the 4th day of a month, specifically September 4.
September 4, 2015 - I finally passed a university exam that I kept failing for like 4 years straight
September 4, 2017 - I passed my final exam and got my MD degree
September 4, 2020 - my uncle - and at the same time: my godfather - dies
September 9, 2020 - while waiting in a cemetery with my family, suddenly a university professor whose course's exam I kept failing: passes me by - he had no business of being there, just went right next to me, we even recognized each other. This was the moment I started noticing some patterns and soon learned that people call it synchronicites.

The uncle-godfather who died was my mom's brother. My mom had 2 brothers - all 3 of them were born on the 4th day of a month, and the brothers died on the 4th day of a month.
A few days ago my mom - recovering from certain medical problems - told me about a few of her symptoms. I suspected deep vein thrombosis and/or some chronic heart failure.
September 4, 2026 - I had my mom as my patient officially for the first time in my life. After ordering some blood tests, turned out she most likely has chronic heart failure, apart from other issues.

Even Carl Jung was fascinated by synchronicites, he even tried doing some research with one of his patients - Wolfgang Pauli - but AFAIK they haven't found anything interesting, and Pauli later died. Apparently humans have been noticing synchronicites for thousands of years.

I just watched a YouTube video earlier that had a joke with the word euthanasia in it ...
