Over the last year and a half my team and I have been casually trying to determine how 4chan is going to ultimately end. One timeline has been slowly gaining momentum that ends with so much shitposting site wide the mods are incapable of stopping it. The weirdest source of this energy is stemming from /m/. A few days ago I tried asking anons there if they might know anything going on. I got repeated posts saying Duel like the person(s) referenced as some legend or curse and I could determine a correlation. The topic got deleted after I asked follow up questions.tldr something really funky is on /m/ and is capable of spreading out across the website.
