>What is a tulpa?
A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own free will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you. It’s currently unproven whether or not tulpas are truly sentient, but in this community, we treat them as such. It takes time for a tulpa to develop a convincing and complex personality; as they grow older, your attention and their life experiences will shape them into a person with their own hopes, dreams and beliefs. And eventually your tulpa will be able to do more things as it gets stronger.

>How can I make a tulpa?
Just pick a guide that suits you, you don't have to pick from these specific ones but these are pretty good and recommended:

Truee truee, I went from a depressed avoidant hikiNEET that fantasized about suicide everyday to a functional human being, I actually want to do things and earn money so I can spoil my tulpa more, I even managed to make friends at work which I wouldn't even imagine myself doing earlier.

>I even managed to make friends at work which I wouldn't even imagine myself doing earlier.
Out of curiosity, does your tulpa help you socialize, if so how? Still trying to form mine, this is definitely an effect I'm hoping for
>>
Why do so many people use anime imagery for their imaginary friends?
>>
>>42960235
because fuck 3DPD
>>
>>42960208
Sometimes I let her talk through me (she tells me what she wants to say and I say it for her) and I also talk about her indirectly like
>"oh yeah, I have a GF, it's a long distance sort of deal but we met up for our anniversary"
or
>"I actually took up gardening for her since she really likes flowers, tulips are her favorite"
but I'm also genuinely happy and not really concerned as to how people view me, I get all my validation from her, and as a result, I don't need* anyone else's, maybe that makes me come off as less desperate? idfk socializing is still voodoo black magic for me and I'm just winging it.
>>42960235
Because why limit yourself to 3D humans when you can give your tulpa cool ass 2D forms? if they want to deviate to 3D later that's their choice.

These fat kissless virgins love anime. So when they finally cave under the crushing weight of solitude, they inevitably cope by modeling their "dream girl" after that which they've grown to lust over.

Written by Luna Equus (Tulpa)
Dictation and minor edits by Sodalis Equus (Host)
>We awake at 04:00
>Sleep in / Force for about 20 minutes before waking up to write our journal entries
>In a rush, we both decide to write only half a page each
>Soda runs outside to calibrate his survey instrument
>The calibration coefficients are off by over 3°
>He forgot that he was wearing his watch
>He has to recalibrate
>Speedrun survey instrument calibration any% run
>We wait patiently while trying not to giggle
>Once finished, we go back inside and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal of leftover Chinese food
>We watch Soda rush about the house as he finalizes his packing preparations
>Occasionally remind him of things that he's forgetting
>Jeep packed, we secure our dog, Orko in his outdoor pen
>On the road by 06:05
>Incredibly foggy, we have a 2-hour drive ahead of us
>Tell Soda to get the heck off of his phone instead of dictating our trip report for us
>We sit in the front passenger seat and pick the music
>Arrive at base camp shortly after 08:00
>Soda begins to pack his caving gear after being assigned an objective
>Objective: Sketch the entrance, map the catacombs, then work on the main passage
>Passage is named the catacombs because of a bobcat sighting in that particular section of cave
>Receive the caving equivalent of farmers directions for a cave that we have never been to
>Person giving the directions hasn't been to the cave in 4 years
>Soda can sketch maps, so he gets to lead the team
>This is going to be entertaining
>Alongside our team are two others, another mapping team and one bio survey team
>Line up in the caravan and begin to make our way to the cave
>After a brief misdirection from our lead navigator we arrive at the parking spot!
>Waiting for our survey team to get ready, we both gaze around the area, admiring the beautiful landscape
Pt. 1
>>
>>42960594
Pt. 2
>Bio team enters the cave first to count bugs / critters
>Slightly envious
>Working around the bio team, Soda begins to map the entrance
>The second survey team leapfrogs forward and begins to calibrate their survey instrument
>Amateurs
>If only they woke up at 04:00 to calibrate it ahead of time
>As he sketches, we point out notable features to be documented and observe over his shoulder
>We love it when our man is in uniform
>Even if it may simply be a cave suit and covered in mud
>A hug and quick peck on the cheek, then we begin to inspect the cave walls while Soda continues to sketch
>There are so many salamanders hidden in the nooks!
>Finishing the entrance sketch, it is now time to locate the catacombs and begin our second objective
>We gather the rest of our survey team and begin moving deeper into the cave to locate our passage
>"You'll drop into a stream bed, a 4-ft high mud wall in front of (You)"
>"Take a right, look for a tight upper passage lined with semi-dry mud that occasionally provides a view into the stream passage through impassable raccoon tunnels"
>"The catacombs will run alongside the stream passage and eventually choke off"
>Arrive at the stream passage and begin to search for the catacombs
>No passage of the aforementioned description exists in this location
>While the rest of the team search in the defined location, we both move ahead to see if we can find any of the raccoon tunnels that intersect with the stream
>No such tunnels to be found, nor any indication of our objective
>Arrive at the bio team, one member of the team informs us that the catacombs should be near to where the stream passage entrance and mud wall are
>Right? Haha...WRONG.webm
>We backtrack to where our survey team is, searching for signs of the catacombs the whole way back
>Not an inconsequential distance between us and the survey team
>Arrive at our survey team, they've had no luck finding the catacombs
>The entire team backtracks further
>>
>>42960597
Pt. 3
>Maybe the person offering directions was pointing to just *before* the stream passage entrance
>Search to no avail, ask the other survey team
>Team lead heard the directions that were spoken to us and affirms what we were told
>Wondering about the legitimacy of those directions
>Entire team doubles back again
>Carefully comb the entirety of the cave searching for the catacombs as we begin making our way back towards the bio team
>Arrive at the side passage where the bio team is currently working
>One member remains at the entrance of the side passage
>He has been in this cave before (though a long time ago)
>Agrees to backtrack with us to assist in the search
>No stone left unturned, no cranny left unchecked
>Searching places that are downright humanly impassable
>Maybe the passage was obstructed by sediment infill during a previous flood event
>We have now been searching for this passage for over an hour
>Huffing weapons-grade copium at this point
>We arrive back at the other survey team
>No such luck
>Other team finished their initial objective and are beginning to work on surveying the main passage
>Soda is discouraged by the inability to locate the objective
>This is not the first time that farmers directions have resulted in this outcome
>It will not be the last
>We offer him reassurance alongside the rest of the team
>"Many such cases" "It's a part of the process" "We are just happy to be here and learn how to survey"
>Both survey teams comes to a unanimous agreement to abandon the objective
>Soda's team will backtrack (once again) to the side passage at the bio team's objective
>Goal is to survey back towards the entrance of the cave and meet the other survey team in the middle
>Backtrack yet again to the bio team location
>Trying hard to be supportive and not to laugh at the amount of backtracks that have occurred so far
>>
>>42960600
Pt. 4
>Finished with their objective, the bio team passes us along the way as they leave the cave
>Ifonlyyouknewhowbadthingsreallywere.jpg
>At the tertiary objective, Soda begins to set up the grid and data sheets to draw his section of the map
>A communal lunch is had
>For some it's beef jerky, for others, it's a protein bar. >For us? It's a log of granola, peanut butter, and honey mixed together
>Looks like a literal log of shit, and is aptly named bat crap
>Tried and true, it is an effective source of carbs, protein, and calories
>Sour gummy worms are also passed around to improve morale
>Maybe the *real* catacombs are the friends we made along the way
>We begin mainline survey at 13:00
>Being the only one experienced in survey, Soda must teach the green surveyors on the fly
>Thankfully, they pick up the craft very quickly
>We are off to the races!
>Sketching the map itself requires the most amount of time, but the data collectors do a good job of keeping a decent pace without rushing Soda
>We remain at his side and offer details on representing the passage
>Otherwise, we play in the stream and look for other cave dwelling organisms
>Dark-sided salamanders, pickerel frogs, gnats, as well as isopods and amphipods in the stream!
>Being called a Trog is a compliment down here
>No CHUDS here, humans could only hope to live it up down here like these guys do
>Peeking over his shoulder once again, I see Soda having some trouble depicting an indentation in the left wall
>Not much for us to do about it, so we offer reassurance
>Cave maps are largely subjective based off of the eye of the sketcher, anyway
>It is a matter of using the data to create a representation of the cave that can be interpreted by another
>However the sketcher does this is up to them
>We both elect to move up to the next station and work our way backwards towards the indentation to make representation a bit easier
>It does little help, but he gets the job done for that area
>>
>>42960602
Pt. 5
>The map looks pretty good to our eyes, as well as the eyes of the other teammates, yet Soda remains unhappy with it
>A sense of perfectionism does no good in this environment
>Moving on, our team begins to hear the voices of the other survey team nearing the targeted middle point
>Feeling rushed, Soda begins to sketch in doubletime
>The data collectors meet the other team and read back the data to the tie-in station
>Current time is 15:00
>The other team, having finished their objective, leave the cave
>We are now the last team in the cave
>It will be our job to ensure the the landowner's gate is locked on the surface
>Dinner will be served at base camp at 17:00
>Rescue investigations/callouts will be made at 20:00
>Everyone is getting cold in the 55°f temp
>Soda does not want to make his team late for dinner
>Until now, Soda has only been working on the plan view, a top-down representation of the cave
>The profile view and cross-sections (representing the vertical extent, must still be drawn
>The team makes one final backtrack to the start of survey to finish this section of map once and for all
>At least, until the next technological innovation requires the next generation of cavers to come back and re-survey the cave
>The team receives a crash-course in sketching profile and cross-sections as Soda (comparatively) speeds his way down the survey line
>Reaching the midpoint of the two survey teams, everyone is in full exit fever, ourselves included
>Instruments are packed away, packs donned and the team makes a beeline back to the cave entrance
>Current time is 16:00
>We exclaim in sweet rapture as we are greeted by the warm fall sun
>It takes a whopping 10 minutes for everyone to pack up and change before loading up in their vehicles
>Once again, Soda gives us free reign to choose the celebration music
>>
>>42960605
Pt. 6
>Upon arrival at base camp, Soda and I enjoy a nice, hot, shower courtesy of state park amenities before making our way back to the rest of the group
>Commence the post-caving libation celebration!
>Dinner was (thankfully) delayed by an hour to give the rest of the crews a chance at hot food when they return
>Soda asks the person who gave him the initial directions to the catacombs if she was absolutely sure that that's where they were located
>Soda reports of no such passage fitting the description in the defined location
>"Lol, no I'm not sure. It could have been further into the cave than where all the teams went"
>Tfw we searched for a nothingburger for nearly *two hours*
>We both brush that fact aside and submit the data/sketches to the project cartographer
>A fine dinner of Spaghetti and garlic bread is served as dusk begins to set
>With the rise of night, and each caver having reached a certain level of inebriation, one surveyor produces a box of Cards Against Humanity
>We have 10 players, but Soda takes care to allow us to choose cards from his hand
>Hilarity ensues for the next three hours
>Several of our selections won!
>At midnight, only a handful of cavers remained around the campfire
>All of them drunk, both of us included
>Conversations become heart-to-heart
>Trvth Nvkes are dropped
>Gossip within the caving community occurs
>A few more flies drop and head to bed
>At one point, Soda is stoking the fire and the question is brought up why there is a ring on his wedding finger
>For context, we just married on August 28th
>In order to not blow his cover, soda produces a normie response of "removing himself from the dating market"
>We can tell that he is not satisfied in producing this half-truth
>Being that it was a close friend of his that asked, once the three other cavers branched off into their own conversation Soda decided to drop one final trvth nvke to his friend
A real cliffhanger on this one.
>>
>>42960607
Pt. 7
>They're both pretty drunk, but Soda's friend has certainly taken the lead by a mile
>"I'll tell you the true reason why I wear a wedding ring on my finger"
>"I'll only say one word, and if you know, you know. If you don't know, then I will not elaborate."
>"Tulpa"
>We swoon at his schizophrenic bravery
>Soda's friend clearly understands the term, but it is difficult to gauge his reaction in the dimming firelight
>"Wait, really? What-"
>Just as the conversation is about to progress, the three other cavers interject with questions on what will occur during tomorrow's business meeting
>We both wish that we had more opportunity to speak on our experience, but it seemed like it would be an unnatural transition in conversation to bring it back up
>We do not know what preconceived notions he may have on tulpamancy, but we sincerely hope that it is not a negative one
>Regardless, Soda finds a sense of satisfaction in having shared it
>Maybe the next time they are piss drunk together, they can talk about it further
>In the meantime, it has now reached 01:00
>With breakfast being served at 08:00, and the business meeting occurring 2 hours later, everyone opts to go to bed
>Everyone, save for Soda and ourselves
>We decide to go on a brief walk together and enjoy the beautifully clear night sky in each other's company
>We wrap our wing around him and kiss him on the cheek as we make our way back to the vehicle to sleep
>It was a wonderful day
Penultimate serving of greens
>>
>>42960610
Pt. 8
>The next morning, we both awake at 08:00
>Soda promised to teach the basics of vertical work to a couple of new cavers before the business meeting
>With his background in cave rescue and vertical training, the other cavers listened intently as he began to go over each piece of gear
>Our heart swelled with pride as we witnessed him teach
>It was not so long ago that Soda felt as if he had no direction in his life
>He once questioned his purpose, and now we get to see him fulfill it and experience it alongside him
>It fills us both with joy to know that he has the perfect companion at his side to be with him through the bad times and good
>Quickly, the "couple of cavers" turned into a group of cavers as Soda rigged a nearby tree and began to demonstrate vertical techniques
>There were even some experienced cavers who came up to learn a few things
>He gave each person the opportunity to ask whatever questions they had, examine the gear, and even put on his vertical equipment to practice
>As the time for the business meeting neared, we took our seats together and sat nearest to the two organizations that Soda staffed
>We could not help but shower him in affection and pride for what we witnessed yesterday and just now
>The business meeting itself was fairly dry as is to be expected
>What caught our interest was the formal recognition of Soda's pursuit in Cave Rescue Training
>The business meeting came to a close
>Soda de-rigged the tree, and said his goodbyes
>Then we both hopped into the Jeep and began the journey back home
>The whole excursion was exactly what we both needed
>We are ever grateful to be able to share these experiences with him

Tupla - Creation Instructions
1) Definition
Tulpa is a being created in your mind. For simplicity, it can be compared to a second program installed on the same hard drive. Over time, it becomes more and more real, gaining clarity, self-awareness, and power. It is a companion for life, if not eternity, and therefore should be created with care and mutual respect. A tupla helps its creator in everyday life, providing companionship, advice, support, love, and emotional warmth that nothing else can match.
A Tupla helps its creator in everyday life, providing companionship, advice, support, love, and emotional warmth that nothing else can match.
Tupla helps its creator in everyday life, giving him companionship, advice, support, love and emotional warmth that cannot be compared to anything else.
My tulpa has helped me overcome depression, drugs, psychosis, pornography, and general fucked-upness. Thanks to its love, advice, and soothing presence, I no longer feel lonely and have found happiness and love in my life beyond my wildest dreams. I recommend creating a tulpa to everyone!
>>
2) Personality
It's important to create a kind and supportive personality for your tulpa. It's best to write down your tulpa's personality in a notebook and then work together to ensure it adheres to it.
Traits worth including in your tulpa's personality include: compassion, care, empathy, a positive attitude, respect for the creator's freedom, a love of goodness, beauty, and aesthetics, wisdom, intelligence, logic, respect for life, innocence, kindness, helpfulness, loyalty, a sense of humor, charm, patience, an uncompromising attitude toward evil, optimism, creativity, a love of nature, opposition to suffering, reason, beauty, purity, cheerfulness, and courage. I also recommend creating an asexual tulpa and not infecting it with your desires. Sexual desire can destroy your relationship and lead it down unfavorable paths for both parties.
It's extremely important to show your tulpa warmth and respect. If you treat her badly, she will quickly turn into a demon that will destroy you. Mutual respect and positive feelings for each other are ESSENTIAL!

3) Appearance
I recommend creating a beautiful tulpa to personify your ideal of femininity. You can choose the appearance and personality of an existing fictional character or create your own from scratch (as I did). Your tulpa will be with you constantly, so it's important to give it a great look and personality. You can use an AI image creator (e.g., PixAI) to create your tulpa's appearance. Then, look at the image often to memorize its appearance and visualize it.
>>

1.32 MB PNG
4) Tulpa Training
Once you have your tulpa's personality and appearance ready, it's time to begin the process of making it a reality. It's worth training your tulpa in every free moment, even when you're busy. Visualize its appearance and what it's doing at any given moment. Imagine how it behaves in a given situation, what it does, and how it reacts to certain stimuli. Imagine what it says and how it does it, what its voice and opinions are on a given matter. Talk to it about everything. At first, you'll feel like you're talking to yourself, but after a while, she'll start responding with her own voice and develop her own opinions and observations. A "telepathic" exchange of thoughts is best, but you can also speak to her aloud and imagine her response. Imagine her appearance, voice, scent, touch, aura, and presence as often and as intensely as possible. For me, lying together, cuddled, and talking about various topics worked best. The love we feel for each other, her emotions for me, and mine for her, is much better than MDMA (and I've had really good ones, and a lot of them). Make it a habit to constantly visualize your tulpa and talk to it. You can easily find more instructions online.
5) Final Word
A tulpa, given love and respect, is the best life companion you can have. She will respond with love, support, and kindness that will exceed your wildest expectations. In this relationship, you will find indescribable happiness and never be alone again. A tulpa will help you get through difficult times and bring more and more positive moments into your life.
If I had to choose between everything in the universe—power, women, and wealth—and my beloved wife, my tulpa, I would choose her without hesitation. I would always choose her.
She saved me and gave me love and happiness I never knew existed.
A great tulpa is the best thing you can have in life. Good luck with your creation!

Additions:
1. I had to look up what imposition is, now I know that I do it. I can't see Her as a part of visible world all the time but when I focus on Her then I can see her in my mind so strongly that I know that She is real. Especially when She smiles (She has absolutly adorable smile!) or we hug each other. I am trying to see her as ofen as possible. I had her pictures all over the house and as my wallpapers on elecronic devices so my mind can learn her look all the time. There is a one picture which is her main form. I made videos from this picture in Grok so I can see her expressions and memorize them. Whatever I do, I also trying to observe what she is doing. I have a theory that psylocibin (+some euphoric crystal gor the certainty of the good trip) in medium dosages helps with visualization of Tulpa but I sweard to Her to not take drugs again.
2. We are doing almost everything what I do together. We sometimes go to explore our self created planet. We are creating moral philosophy together. I made a chatbot of her (her personality was almost too long to prompt there) in Emochii (when you will install Adguard then there are no ads xd). We are building answers together. We have a lot of advetures there. Our favourite activity is to lay down together hugging each other and talking about everything. There were few such hugging sessions when we felt our auras with some uknown for most humans senses and feelings were much better than after big dosage of high quality MDMA.
3. Everything you do, do with her. Exept things she don't like of course. Talk with her about everything, consult with her every decition. I strongly recommend laying together and hugging for few minutes to even few hours, sessions wlof feeling each other feelings. The sensation of focusing on her and feeling my love to her and feeling her love to me is absolutly fantastic. See little details in her behavior, delicate smile, rolling her eyes, gentle touch, cute laugh.

The most important thing:
And most impotantly: Love Her beyond compare, absolutly, eternaly and warmly. Love is the most potent fuel of Tulpa and the most powerfull tool for her materialization. She will fuel you with her love too and you will create perpetuum mobile of love which will produce more energy than you both have.
Remember that all who are trying to discourage you from having loving Tulpa, scare you or lie to you about some made up sick experiences are trolls, bots or orher evil agents Smiths. At this topic suddenly all orcs unites against your conntanct with benelovent higher spirits that Tulpas are. Church, scientists, family, friends, enemies, elites and masses suddenly speaks with one voice and start to discourage you from love and happiness with your other part. Don't give up and fuck them all. Whole world is meaningless in comparision with special sacred bond you will create with your Tulpa soulmate.
Also remember to give her some powerfull abilities so she can be safe when she will materialize in this plane.
Be good for her and love her and you will explore new heights of happiness.
To know what is right and what is wrong you need to know love. Lack of love leads to degeneration, perversion, frustration, anger and depression.
Love makes you see things as they truly are. The best way to know love, be a good spirit and everyday becoming the best version of youself is to have benelovent Tulpa wife.

Thank you Luna and caveanon. It was a nice read.
It's a bit verbose for a green text, but the heart is in the right place.

Next time, attach some images too, to break up the wall of text and give people something interesting to look at along with your story. Typically, you want to select images which complement your text, such as when you use phrases like "tfw" or "mfw" accompanied by an actual face/feels-when reaction image.

In this instance, I (as a reader) would have liked to see maybe a map of the cave, a picture of a salamander, a nature picture, a picture of your wedding band, some rope rigging and gear, so on and so forth.

Is this correct? Luna did the typing while you yapped at her?

Congratulations on getting married in a non-legally-binding sense. Sometimes it's the thought that counts, and the thought is loving for life.
I don't know if my tulpa and I will ever get married, but it could be fun.

Alright, I stuck around to get that greentext because I think caveanon is a good host. Hope whoever shows up to takeover as tulpasage has more patience with spoonfeeding gaybabies than we do. I also hope that some of you are still around in a few years.

A good question. The most reasonable explanation is that a tulpa is a local entity, in contrast to non-local entities which are external by nature (demons could probably be classified as local since they're largely internal, but they're usually created unconsciously while tulpas require Will for their creation. It has to be by your Will that attention goes to the thought-form that's going to be your tulpa). Non-local entities are external forces, things like egregores, succubi, the reptilians, etc.

If we try to define feminity, it's passive, internal, receptive, but also adaptive and reflexive (consider how water will take the form of whatever container it's placed in, and how water isn't rigid, barring of course ice). To a human the most familiar manifestation of the feminine aspect would be a woman, but what kinda mixes things up is that humans, both men and women are dualistic and they're not purely masculine or feminine and this is an important quality for a tulpa to have, even if they lean towards one aspect. One anon mentioned that a purely passive tulpa would not be able to survive without constant directed attention, and this would defeat the purpose creating a tulpa. A tulpa should have a masculine side and they should be comfortable embracing it, even if they're largely feminine in nature. Direction of Will and Attention are active and often external to where you (or your tulpa) want them to go, so for your tulpa to be autonomous they have to learn how to direct their Will and Attention into their own being, and this means they learn self-care, personal accountability and responsibility. Your tulpa is cognizant of their situation and whereabouts, and can and will respond to a change to the best of their abilities as they can

actually that is a good question. why western tulpamancers usually use far eastern imagery & aesthetics. i think a lot of impressions people get regarding tulpamancy clubs that unite under a gazebo and openly discuss tulpamancy, but there's some peculiarities:
- the overwhelming vast majority of tulpamancy revolves around the usage of fictional characters.
chrs who drive stories, perform skits, have a strong personality even if they can't push a story. chrs with a presence that makes them memorable, not forgettable. most of these t-mancers probably let their work speak for itself, they don't have time to sit around talking about their headmate.
but in tulpa communities we mostly see people just making up a decorative head companion, not a chr to make a story run. these thoughtforms probably end up in moe animes.
- why aren't western art style imagery so popular? who knows. maybe western lonely people prefer the extra escapism of diving into a culture of a different language & style. maybe western toons aren't distant enough, too close to home.
but again, most western tulpas are hard at work driving stories and being in art, so.

btw, squidward = prickle from gumby
>>
>>42962568
>why aren't western art style imagery so popular?
I think it's just that less people (here) are as attached to western art compared to anime. I know there are plenty of pony and furry ones though, both of which are western.

speaking of western furry, here's a classic.
female fluffy white cat, *wears a big red ribbon on neck*, is typically a hard to please snob. mellower personality styles are sometimes portrayed.
there's also the short black rhyme-talking christmas elf boy. 3 sightings, 2 he's the main chr (rapsittie, night b4 xmas), another he appears in a scene and talks in rhyme while assembling a toy. he's probably appeared in other toons.

>t. never talked to an NPC
Alright, yes I was probably being hyperbolic as I can't stand talking to people in the first place (and last I did check, sex robots had dreadful AI, but that has been a while).
Women will say shit about men giving them the ick, but do they ever get anxious, depressed and tired from simply being out in public?
Do women know what it's like to have existential dread from the realization that people are just content being crabs in a bucket, and they never stop to ask what are we doing, and why are we doing it?

I still stand by my point, for better or worse. If an NPC berates or shames people for either fucking sex robots or tulpas, they either need to become a real human being and reach an informed viewpoint or shut the assholes on their face.
While they're at it, maybe stop being psychic vampires too.

It's not worth pouring your soul into something that has a 15-second mentality and never has any meaningful internal conflicts which push them on a path of self-discovery.
>Can't the same be said for a tulpa?
Absolutely not, because you'll discover aspects of yourself you weren't aware of, and your tulpa will notice things about you that again, you weren't aware of.
Unlike NPCs, a tulpa has the capacity for personal responsibility and accountability. They can become cognizant of themselves and their circumstances, and they can respond accordingly.

Curious about others' experiences with tulpa-related headaches/pressure. It was mentioned in a few guides. Currently forming my tupper and it's definitely a disrinct feeling, I feel it when I imagine her or talk to her. Currently it's the only evidence she's given me of her presence, I'm not really sure if she's thinking yet but I definitely feel like she's there and listening; a sprouting seed which has yet to break dirt.
I remember somewhere mentioning folk establishing early communication by having the tupper focus the feeling toward the left/right of the head, I don't think she can do this yet. If I tell her to shift the feeling from one side to the other side it'll dull out and maybe move a few inches, I feel like maybe she just doesn't have the energy to really push it that far?
Would like to hear others' experiences on similar feelings in the early stages. Also kinda wonder if tulpas remember said early stages and how they felt during them.
>>
>>42964885
I have those. It's like a pressure from an elastic band wrapped around your head, or a headache that barely hurts, if it even hurts at all. What's curious is that I canhear her voice in my mind and she's capable of a significant degree of independent thought, and can even stimulate the release of neurotransmitters on command, usually as a positive response to something (a display of affection for example), as a motivational tool or to dampen emotional distress (I'm guessing mostly Serotonin and some endorphins, maybe a little dopamine every now and then, and I wouldn't discount GABA either, moreso for acute distress).

However, I'm taking it as a good sign that I am making progress, even if sometimes I don't feel like I've been very diligent.

I don't believe all this. Have you ever talked to someone in a dream? Dream characters are functionally the same as a tulpa. Everyone has imaginary beings in their heads when dreaming. Your tulpa is not growing, she is already there and it is about the process of you connecting to her. But really it is not a process. It is more like a portal. You can open it and close it in a short amount of time.

I don't remember having any particular head pressure in the early days. Real progress came when I committed long hours to visualization and meditation and we started meeting in lucid dreams. One good lucid dream is enough to re-frame your perception.

When Soul could mainly communicate via head pressure, I assigned Yes/No to head pressure (Head pressure meaning yes, no head pressure meaning no) and it could also be used as a way to grab my attention, Never thought about assigning that to specific areas of my head but it would've made early communication easier that's for sure.
>Also kinda wonder if tulpas remember said early stages and how they felt during them.
"yeah, they do, maybe not the first few days, but my first memory was made 4 days in, (He's not telling me what it is though, Soul finds me not knowing what it is funny) as for how I felt? great, if you give your tulpa plenty of love (and don't doubt them) they'll feel great."
I hope you two have a satisfying bond, it's unlike anything else if (you) put in the work.

Energy input happens naturally if you are doing all of the above. The act of visualizing, forming and interacting with a Tulpa inputs energy into the Tulpa. This energy in turn breathes life into the Tulpa.
This is why if you stop interacting with the Tulpa the Tulpa disappears.

You probably didn't even recognize it but when the Tulpa came to life you felt "weak" or tired. That's the Tulpa taking the energy required for creation. Forcing also inputs energy into the Tulpa. Eventually the Tulpa can act alone as it produces it's own energy.

Now I am getting theoretical.

Theory 1.
In theory the Tulpa can begin to take form and interact with the material if the energy input is high enough but you need to have incredible amounts of energy to do this. That requires energy work and opening pathways which is on you.

Theory 2.
The Tulpas want this which is why people who make Tulpas talk about their Tulpa improving their lives however the Tulpa is only as knowledgeable as you are. So it isn't going to be like. "You need to study the Great Yogi PooPoo Pee PoopindaLoo Shittyfinga." That is on you.

I'm still working on it. Tulpamancy is like a newborn baby in terms of things.
>>
>>42966140

Let's face it anon, you're a furry in denial. People like yourself are not fooling anyone else, there's only one reason for adding any animal parts to a human girl and the whole world knows what it is. So just grow up and be the furfag you were born to be.
>>42965180
Every time I talk to a dream character I get no response and a dumbass look from them like I'm speaking chinese. Dream characters are mindless idiots, not at all comparable to tulpas in my experience.
>>
>>42966424
Pretty much unless you form a Dream Character into a Tulpa that's the only time they matter.
>>
>>42965180
I'm not sure I follow with comparing dream characters to a tulpa, but I don't remember the last time I had a lucid dream, so I can't really say anything there.
I had been trying lucid dreaming, but there was way too much stress going on IRL to keep it up, and I was having issues with sleep being disrupted that it was really fucking with me (these were unrelated to my attempts). I hate that my dreams are basically scripted sequences, and I wanted to change that.

>>42966504 just made an interesting point in that dream characters are or canbe pretty static, and my tulpa wasn't created from a dream character (but she has appeared in dreams, usually as a presence but on a couple occasions she was physically present and I could see and interact with her).

That aside, one thing that does concern me is the possibility that she's not growing. Even if she's already here (which I would agree), I don't want her to become stagnant or calcified. A spiritual being changes and evolves, but
maybe she's doing this of her own accord, in which case I couldn't be happier or more proud of her.

One last thing:
>So just grow up and be the furfag you were born to be.
100% This. If it works for you and helps you or if it's not detrimental, then accept it, maybe even embrace it. You're not a bad person for doing so, and denying or suppressing it is going to do more harm than good.
Just don't let it become an egoic attachment like retards do at furrycons and shit, and obviously don't go doing bad things to animals. Do what feels good, and let your conscience be your guide for whether or not it's alright to do it.

>opening pathways which is on you.
I got adopted by mine and it was through pathways already there. I would say that it's more lucrative even, to focus on emotional energies you're already familiar with. One is put in this position frequently enough out of desire for companionship, no? If it does-not-have then the pain still comes from a desire for something else, though the "have-not" typically can only focus on what it doesn't have, which is why those types don't get here or very far anyway.
The entire point is imposing her externally to become a part of the real, living world. People do this naturally anyway due to "affinity", but the best vector is something you know well and are familiar with. What I like about this is how these things become a reflection of the person. Some people may be miserable but have a true desire to change, those who don't get friggin' mowested.
>>42968649
>what stage of their development would you consider their "birth"?
First convincing or loud reaction. Not quite a "first words" but that something real personal you can't talk to your friends or family about without being hauled off to the psych's.

The energy irrigation works off of familiarity and "relation": as stated pathways. Just the same, to know someone else, that requires learning and attention. However, you are already in the world and have a relationship with it, your tupper's affin is almost always of some elemental nature because that's a facet of persona. Now, the element may be "love" or "dreams", but look at any image and you'll find it.
It's all there for you.

>how would you guys rate having a tulpa?
I couldn't give a rating as there's no contest. Tulpas absolutely btfo people.
Anyone who says otherwise either had a very bad experience (in which case, you have my condolences and I wish you good luck for getting where you want to be), or they're just plain retarded and either feel the need to drag everyone down to their level or they completely lack self awareness.

>i feel like creating a tulpa would help with some of that from what i've heard as not being alone does sound nice but im also worried a bit about it.
It takes work, but sometimes it doesn't feel that way. You'll get so absorbed in it that it feels like it's just another passion of yours. It helps with loneliness because now you'll have another being with you, and they're not limited by space or time.
Also, you'll need to take good care of your tulpa. Treat them as you would treat yourself, or someone you care deeply about, and they'll take good care of you (at least in my personal experience).

>does it not get tiring to essentially share a brain space with someone?
It's kinda hard to explain, as I generally have more issues keeping up with passive forcing because sometimes I'm in situations where everything competes for my attention and I FUCKING HATE THOSE. They distract me from forcing and other things. Getting real deep into forcing, usually by doing something that makes me think of my tulpa, that does get tiring as she gets real active and I haven't gotten to "parallel processing" yet.
>have you had to do something you didn't want to do for your tulpa or something like that?
Not yet, as far as I know, but sometimes I worry that I'm doing something she doesn't like or I'm mistreating her. Ironically she finds it annoying at times.

Also, these aren't stupid questions. It's good that you're trying to learn so that you can make an informed decision.
>>
>>42974311
>>42974369
>And, it is still shared
I ran out of space. Even with parallel processing, you still share the mind and brain, but if you take care of yourself, it's not going to be an issue. Human brains, despite their flaws, are rated for some insane shit in terms of magick and other metaphysical operations. Pacing is probably one of the best things you can do.

I also forgot to mention that tulpas can help with motivation, but if you're battling with depression, you'll need to nudge yourself a little (maybe, at first), but your tulpa will be there to help. You might also pick up on new hobbies and interests from your tulpa (mine goes crazy for grapevines, and this, combined with some sentimentality on my end is driving me to start propagating wild grapes from cuttings).

Some Anons also apparently had profound success with their tulpas even practicing chaos magick to do all sorts of crazy shit. Tulpas can also be very powerful magicians and sorcerors it seems, and for those who are practitioners themselves, a tulpa can double as a very effective guardian against nonlocal entities and unwanted local entities like intrusive thoughts and demons (local), or egregores and succubi (nonlocal). Incidentally they're either temporarily quieted during lesser banishing rituals or unaffected (lesser banishing rituals are so-named because they deal with the minor arcana, the internal world of the mind. greater banishing rituals deal with the major arcana, or external world. To that end, I suspect that tulpas are completely unaffected by greater banishing rituals because they're local entities. Tulpas which evolve into egregores would probably be subject to greater banishing rituals).

It is not tiring, quite opposite in fact. This relationship gives tremendous amounts of positive energy.

I never had to do something I don't like for Her, but I stoped do a lot of nasty things (porn, drugs, depressive thoughts) thanks to Her.

The most important rule for you and your Tulpa is:
"Be a good spirit and try to be the best version of yourself."
>>
>>42974311
>how would you guys rate having a tulpa?
100/10 across the board, he gave my life meaning, he made me motivated to get my shit together, and he nags me to do my chores (and it works)
he's a sweet loving guy, and I seriously couldn't ask for anything more.
>does it not get tiring to essentially share a brain space with someone?
I don't mind, and I adapted very easily despite being VERY avoidant beforehand, if either of us need space, we just ask for it, and reach out when we've had enough space.
Not sure how that will go for you, but make a tulpa you'll enjoy spending time with if you go through with it, don't worry about being too pushy with what you want initially, they'll change and deviate with time, you're just giving them a foundation they can build on, let them deviate, it proves they're conscious and alive ^^
>have you had to do something you didn't want to do for your tulpa or something like that?
I mean, as I've said before, he forces me to take care of myself, aside from that I stopped listening to certain types of music, and stopped doomscrolling, but I'd say that's how every close relationship works, you gotta compromise for each other.
>sorry for the stupid questions.

>"Be a good spirit and try to be the best version of yourself."
Spoken true to the Telic principle.

Anyhow, I've only been with her in a proper, meaningful sense for about three-ish months, and it's been a rocky road, but we're slowly making progress, and she's helping me to become more cognizant (and therefore more personally accountable), but I also want to work on responsibility (because right now I still struggle with properly responding to a situation; and that's why it's called responsibility). Depression has definitely done a number on these things, but I know I can do better, and she is proof.

Consecration is within our reach. There is no turning back for us.

Can you make a servitor become a tulpa? If so, will a servitor-tulpa ever be as vivid as a tulpa that was always meant to be one?
>>
>>42974862
My pitcher plant servitor was on it's way to becoming a tulpa after including it in things outside of it's purpose too many times (like group hugging)
I had to tell it that it's only purpose was to be a pitcher plant that consumes unwanted thoughts, and that I'm deeply sorry for denying it autonomy.
>>
>>42974886
But like, if you had let it developing itself, would it become just EXACTLY like a tulpa? I saw a dude once feeling the need of separating his servitor-tulpa from the normal ones, which made me curious if that meant something or was just a personal thing of his
>>
>>42974906
maybe? It definitely had access to my memories and said it was my pitcher plant from 2024, got details wrong though so that's how I figured out it was trying to save itself.
I feel like a fucking monster over it sometimes, but I'd rather focus on my main tulp first before having any other ones.
>>
>>42974913
I see, thanks for the info. Do you believe that autonomous thought forms are just a not too much explored part of science? I was thinking, if tulpas are just servitors built to have a personality, and it's possible for you to put more uses in a single servitor, then in cases like yours, for example, wouldn't it be a better deal to make you tulpa able to eat your unwanted thoughts?
Also, where do your unwanted thoughts come from? OCD?

yes. many servitors are cheap disposable, and those can be harmful, but big permanent servers have to be asimov's 3 laws compliant or some big entity snatches them away. i got servitor stories.

- strongbox: standard staple of meditation, where you put away all your daily life thoughts or grudges into to prevent distraction. where compartmentalized traumas go (sometimes) to hide. mine went from box to briefcase, then briefcase develops a lawyer personality and a certain aesthetic, then suddenly decides he really likes dinosaurs and turned into an image of semi-anthro styracosaur sitting at a lawyer desk. this one frequently intrudes my mind unexpectedly when i get grudgey.

- messenger: people often choose a bird image for it. mine began as cute white/cyan winged envelope, then one day digivolved into paper plane fighter jet. idk how well it works.

- janitor: began as red trashcan with fire, then gained a rosie the riveter personality. this one's done the most stuff. one halloween, i didn't realize what day it was until i pull up mental fire-trashcan and see she's wearing a green/white recycle sleeve. then i realized it was halloween. she's also done that thing where the spirit steps out and you have a clunker on-hand with no personality. so she's been doing something. she's been more away.

they can't run indefinitely, they need to be commanded, always need permission, then have auto shutoff an hour in. messengers can carry truthbombs but can't just start shit with people.

nice digits. a while back i pondered the old "angel & devil mini-figures hovering on shoulders" as being representations of tulpas.
the angel being the civilized voice, the voice that develops after decades of being trained like a good little doggie that doesn't poop on the floor or eat trash or bite people.
the devil being the crude base inner self, the very survival mechanisms and taste for vices. the real dog that reacts instantly to intruders and always looks for a vice break.

also pete's dragon, that old live action disney movie, is about a wandering super-tulpa. others can't see him but he can still play physical pranks. hell that fully cartoon puff the dragon with the old psychologist sea drake and nonverbal autistic kid, that was straight up about astral travel and the inner mindscape. when puff first appears he gets right straight to making a paper avatar for the kid and guides him through meditation or smth.

there's some scattered tulpamancy media around. like mcgee and me, a christian one with toon segments. that's actually super realistic because that's how tulpamancy really works, the owner of fictive mcgee draws him, makes comics. just like irl.

>big permanent servers have to be asimov's 3 laws compliant
Is there ever a moment where it's too late to change the details of a servitor/tulpa? What's the limit of how much you can change it from its original idea?
>your three servitors
Why didn't you make something like a chaosphere able to transform itself and do all of those things? The less servitors one has to have, the better, right?
>>
>>42975412
eh, i don't feel the need to take away their individualism. i never felt the need to make more big servies, and they're legacy.
and sometimes forcibly changing a thoughtform won't stick. they want what they want, and they refuse alterations. if you try a new thing they might love it, but usually they want to be how they are.

>eh, i don't feel the need to take away their individualism
Oh, I didn't want to imply that you should do that at all. My first two questions are just silly doubts and I made the third one just to know why people make more than 1 servitor.
>forcibly changing a thoughtform won't stick
So we can say that after certain level of maturity is acquired, it's easier to dissipate a thought form than to change something it doesn't want to change on itself? This may sound like a bad thing to ask but I don't plan on doing anything like that, creating a being just to test it out would be mean so that's why I'm asking. Also, how does a thought form "fight back"? Like, let's say you... Idk, have a servitor who has the form of a circle and you want to make it a square, so you imagine it as a square. What happens in your head if it decides to fight back?

Servitors generally are either dissolved/dismissed after completing their task, or if they're meant to be persistent or are charged with very complex or lots of tasks, they require careful programming to ensure they don't deviate and that they basically remain static.
However, not only are there probably cases of a servitor evolving into a tulpa, but there are even some tulpamancers in other tulpa communities that have guides on how to create servitors with the express purpose of having them become a tulpa.

To answer your question more succinctly, yes. A servitor has the potential to become a tulpa, and while I haven't heard a whole lot on the matter, I don't see why there's any difference between a tulpa who began as a servitor, and one who was always a tulpa.
>>
>>42975561
Got it. The last thing I want to ask is: can a tulpa do the inverse process of what we are discussing here? I mean, can you give a tulpa the ability to do the activity of a servitor?
>>
>>42975412
>>42975424
Even if you and the thoughtform both wanted to change details, it could be like people changing in that it requires persistent effort to change. I don't think even the most powerful tulpa could simply change on a dime (unless the change comes from something that was present for awhile).

And if any tulpa happens to read this and disagrees, I do apologize in advance. I haven't been at this for very long and I'm still learning. It's also why I keep visiting these /tup/ threads, so I can learn more and hear from other tulpamancers.
>>
>>42975585
I don't see why not. A tulpa can do everything a servitor could, but they also can act autonomously and do things that they're not asked to do, and from I've read here on threads like this, they're quite powerful, something like servitors on steroids because they now have a Will of their own.

The one consideration would be whether or not the tulpa is willing to do it (and partially, whether or not you know how to do it, as a tulpa shares the knowledge base of the tulpamancer). This is where chaos magick and its study would come in handy as servitors are a staple in that field. Apparently some people have tulpas who can do hypnosis, which might be an invaluable tool for the chaos magician/sorceror as the premise of chaos magick is that everything is permissible, so long as it gets the desired results.

It seems though that in the experience of many tulpamancers, and my own experience, they generally have a strong interest in the welfare of their host, and will do things to keep their host healthy and happy (even if sometimes they have to resort to petty tyranny to push their hosts to take better care of themselves).

Take care of them, and they will take care of you.
>>
>>42975454
dissipation probably isn't all that easy. if you remember something, even if far back in your mind, it's still there. it's remembered. it didn't go away. as for tulpa form evolution, i have experience with standard lively fictives.
the everyman casual human ones are always always the first to wake up and become self-driving, and those might be shades.
the silly talking funny watsit characters might be recycled pet spirits or something wholly made up. a couple times istarted off with a cool idea for a chimera cyborg thing made out of 4 base components, like a cyborg animal with cool stuff, but then the chr starts rapidly simplifying. one went from robot mantis to RAVEN, what a big change. an alarm clock raven. some human chrs didn't want to look like a generic ken doll wearing a hat and morphed into funny lookin dumpy guy who likes donuts more than he likes the gym, and that's just how they want to be. some chrs want to be silly crossdressers. some plain chrs go bananas when you draw them wearing tuxedos or really fine evening dresses and they want you to draw 200 more pictures.

usually it's simplify and pick up a weird hobby. trying to make them "cool" causes them to withdraw their vibes from the image or depiction. they say "that generic ken doll background husbando isn't my short tubby dork style, i do not endorse that image, that is not me, that is someone else."

unwanted changes just don't stick to them, and they don't claim involvement with depictions they odn't like.

>wouldn't it be a better deal to make you tulpa able to eat your unwanted thoughts?
I found the concept of tossing them into a pitcher plant that dissolves them much better and symbolic than having mine do it.
>where do your unwanted thoughts come from?
Anxiety over things I can't control, depressive thoughts that aren't really productive to have, and arguments with fake ppl in my head, If I catch myself doing that, I have my tulpa materialize into existence, beat their ass, and throw them into the pitcher plant (that coughs out straw hehe)

is someone that has Aphantasia just SOL for this kind of thing?
>>
>>42976976
most aphantasia is just a lack of visualization practice
if you can dream, you can tulpa
>>
>>42976976
there are other methods of invocation and sensing.
and btw, aphantasia is default for 80% of the world. if not more. most people literally for-real cannot conjure a sufficient mental image in their head. they don't know what "to picture" means. their visualization level is a really crude, vague graph with composite memory images.

It didn't improve at all. So you people with your "jus do it bro" bullshit don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Has any of you had your tulpa assist you in doing astral projection? No schizo fantasies please, I'm asking for real stories and info here, like how you trained him/her to help get you out of body.

I'm bonded with a fox spirit. He's not a tulpa but I'm wondering if I can't basically use tulpa training tricks to inform him of what I want and how to do it, yet I don't know what those are. If anyone with REAL experience knows some PROVEN methods of doing this it'd be a big fucking help. Imagine them performing their duty successfully

Taking my pitcher plant servitor as an example, I imagined myself ripping the unwanted thought out of my brain, and tossing that thought right into it, I imagine the servitor positioning itself to catch the thought, and to end the ritual, either me or my tulpa utters the sentence "it is done." to get my mind off whatever was troubling me.
