If you aren’t regularly taking beneficial mind altering substances, what’s your reasoning? LSD, MDA/MDMA, psilocybin, DMT, etc. I think everyone needs to tap in to raise the collective consciousness and break the illusions.

I already have tried all those drugs. See, the thing about doing drugs is it may help you see the world more clearly, but it does not help you influence the world more powerfully. Actually, quite the contrary.

Doing LSD directly influences weather patterns and frequency of realities glitches and dimensional jumping

We must've had very different experiences. I too like tripping regularly, but ego-death makes me appreciate my ego all the more. It is what makes "me" me. Becoming one with the universe is great, but the consciousness of the universe is pretty boring in its gloriousness. There's no differentiation, no uniqueness. There's no collective there, I just become one with the universe - and that universe is a singular consciousness.

Depends what you mean by regularly? I like to use psilocybin a few times a year, most often medium doses and not full breakthrough. MDMA once or twice a year at most as it's a great reset/boost but it feels more superficial than the effects of LSD/shrooms + neurotoxicity. When I can get my hands on a new psychedelic I usually try it, 2CB is nice. Cannabis once or twice a month to think and write. It already feels like a lot and doing more would be overkill. I prefer to use those substances ritually, alone and with a clear goal in mind, and I need time to integrate the experiences afterwards. Substances like alocohol, cocaine or speed I avoid since they're the opposite of mind-expanding to me. Honestly there are a lot of people around me who have stupid psychological issues and patterns they're stuck in and I wish they would agree to take a safe sub-breakthrough dose of shrooms for once and get the benefits instead of going to "therapists" and taking legal drugs that lobotomize them.

I tried shrooms and LSD and I figured there's no single thought or insight I couldn't have had without them. They let your mind wander a little bit more and intensify your thoughts, but it's not like they induce anything new. You could as well meditate and do the same work without drugs, probably. Plus, taking these does take some sort of toll on you - in the long run you lose focus and control of yourself and your life can spiral easily. These drugs are either not a sustainable way to explore what you deem true reality, or just not a real gateway to actual reality.

The only way this would happen is if you are actually a demon. Psychedelics are great at showing people if they are demonic or angelic in nature. I’m sorry you learned you were demonic and aren’t coping well. I thought I would be demonic but after over a hundred trips with LSD and many dozen psilocybin trips, I am clearly an angelic being. Ultimately it’s important for demons and NPCs and angels to know their place.

a couple times til you get the message is enough.
my highest dose was 3 years ago - 2250ug
i was dropping every month for 2 years up to that point - usually around 500ug
i was really overdoing it.
been fully sober since the big one. that one lasted 20 hours. i was out of it fully for 3,4 hours, just laid on the living room floor, acid king blasting through the speakers. very fun. made me kick a decade long booze problem.

i do, but regularly for LSD means once a year or two

if you are doing hard psychedelics more than once every six months you are going to end up braindead

Eh this is subjective. I’m categorically not a day tripper, the sun hurts my spooky blue eyes. Even at multi day camping fests I don’t like to drop until like 330-4pm. Tripping at night is much better, especially if it’s a full moon, in my experience and my personal opinion. I don’t think I’d last more than 30 minutes tripping on the beach during the day. I’ve done theme parks on 150ug, but only really during late fall through early spring, and I make sure to hang out in shaded areas and cool off in air conditioned spots frequently. Maybe you’re from the west coast or up north or just built different from my basement dwelling genetics. Or maybe you’re not even American and I’m being overly ameri centric or whatever.
>>42963622
I’ve been gifted so many hits of acid this year, I hope some finds its way to you homie. It’s a gift economy in many ways so just make sure you give back when you plug in.
>>42963285
As much as I love psilocybin/DMT, I love LSD and MDA so much more. MDA is better than MDMA in my opinion and I don’t see that getting discussed too frequently. I’m very extroverted but also autistic as fuck, I enjoy how MDA modulates my social anxiety and allows me to unmask. I have more genuine friends and nobody tells me I “don’t seem autistic” nowadays.

What led you to the conclusion that psilocybin and DMT are the peak psychs? An experienced psychonaut I know told me that when he took mescaline for the first time, during the come up/peak he was shouting that he never wanted to do acid or shrooms ever again because the mescaline experience was so amazing. I still haven’t gotten to experience mescaline.
>>
>>42963606
To each their own, if I’m going for a dissociative experience I’ll just try to k hole myself. What makes you enjoy the DXM experience so much? I tried it a couple times as a teenager and found the mental feeling to be somewhat interesting, but it was vastly outweighed by how physically sickening it felt. Even a DPH hangover felt less awful than the low dose dxm hangovers for me.
>>
>>42962160
>if you’re doing psychedelics more than once every 6 months you’ll end up braindead
Alexander Shulgin didn’t start getting dementia until he was like 80 and that man did almost nothing but trip and make psychedelics. Leonard Picard is still a chill old man and he definitely tripped way more than twice a year, he’s functioning very well. You don’t really know what you’re talking about. Even plenty of dirty clandestine chemists are still doing alright mentally and physically despite not only consuming large amounts of psychedelics but also handling dangerous chemicals and breathing in toxic fumes. Unfortunately a lot of the same people who are crazy enough to frequently use psychedelics are also retarded, but not everyone who uses often is retarded. You can be crazy without being a stupid retard.
>>
The problem is how disorienting it is to keep taking it. The line between which world has the main narrative starts to become confused.
>>

>>

>Demons attacked me and stayed after mushrooms

That's because the spiritual lube you took was meant for mushrooms. Humans are meant for DMT.
>>
>>42962245
Not everyone agrees with Watts on this, contemporaries and modern psychonauts included. Dennis McKenna and Ram Dass certainly didn’t. Purporting one man’s philosophy as the only true path is a little weird, plus not everyone feels scrambled after tripping. A low dose mushroom trip after an acid trip is usually good at scrubbing any vague scrambled feeling away, but I only get that feeling after candyflipping for 3 days in a row. MDA and MDMA use is not as harmful as some people want you to think it is. It can be used more frequently than every 3 months if you take the right supplements and don’t overdo the dosing.

I've done MDMA at festivals before as well as small group settings. Yes it absolutely causes feelings of connection and brotherhood but they're not based on reality, it's just a straight-up rose tinting of your brain. The conversations that seemed so deep and rewarding feel trivial the next day, compared with the lasting appreciation I've gotten from shrooms/acid
>>
>>42963606
You ever hear about plateau sigma?
>>
>>42964106
Nta but I used to do it when I was younger. It's not a super fun feeling, more drunk and uncomfortable. Tussin-consciousness is an interesting component. You remember all of your time when you do it again, and forget most of it when you sober up. Also, taking pills that are just gel + dxm is important. Most dxm delivery methods include other things to make you sick or overdose. Take enough and you start to travel and meet entities.
>>
>>42960361
I've taken enough LSD in my life to be diagnosed as HPPD. Hallucinating persistent perception disorder. I get flashbacks occasionally and they usually don't do too much negativity. Once in awhile they are bad and I have to leave work, can't drive, etc.
>>
>>42965195
How high of a dose did you take before you developed HPPD?
>>
>>42964844
Thank you for your concern, really, but I'm aware of all that already, and my own philosophy doesn't line with Watts much at all beyond agreeing with him on the one quote. I'm not ruling out another use in the future, I just really don't feel the need to do so right now at the current stage of my own spiritual practice. I'm glad these substances exist, I'm glad I had the chance to experience, and I'm glad they're helping others right now, but they just don't call to me at the present moment. Why is that notion so upsetting to some people?

Unfortunately it only seems to reliably bring rain and make the area a huge puddled mess. I feel like if enough people intentionally dropped trying to change the weather in a specific way (other than the default of a rainy/slushy deluge) in a specific area the results could be fantastic. I’ve been able to reliably cool things down by 5-6 degrees vs the daily average when tripping with that intention, but the area of effect isn’t very large. And it’s just me setting and manifesting that intention. The last time I personally introduced someone to it, it rained/hailed biblically nonstop for over 2 days and it wasn’t even a cyclone.
>>
>>42960361
> think everyone needs to tap in to raise the collective consciousness and break the illusions.

Won't really help for all, got two friends to do shrooms.
One had a good positive outlook of his life and the universe and is now more open to the universe.
The second friend realized he never ever looked at anything from a third person perspective, whole world is just 0s and 1s.

First friend does trips whenever he feels like it to reset his mental state or for reflection.
Second friend does a weekly dose of 550 m.g. (2 drops) just to get high. (From his words "helps with depression)

You'll always have people that even psychedelics cannot help them to elevate to higher consciousness or do better.
>>
There's a difference between expanding your consciousness and developing it, silly :)
>>
>>42960361
Have done them all. Now microdose psilocybin when I need to shake the snow globe up. Try each once but all I can say to anons is to go into with an intention. You go in trying to have a "Good time" entities will fuck you strictly because of that. Try it with the intention of learning something. I'll answer any questions for hesitate anons.

I prefer it to ketamine as a trip experience because its 10+ hours (delsym). Take Dramamine for nausea. The D-Hole provided me with knowledge that led to everything I believe today. The beauty, the tactile hallucinations, and sounds are amazing as a bonus

>>42968962
Ehhh as you can see from >>42968954 post, plenty of people can do psychedelics for a “good time” and the entities aren’t necessarily going to fuck them over. Maybe don’t take a tenstrip to party though.

Availability and the need to be sober to take care of stuff in general, I daresay. That said, DMT is a PITA to extract, even with the relevant experience to boot.
>>
>>42972201
?? The extraction is barely high school level and can be done in an evening.

Take mhrb
Apply acid, stir with chopstick
Apply base, let sit for awhile
Apply non polar compound, stir, let sit for awhile
Take top layer, put it in dish, put dish in freezer
????
Profit

You can buy all the stuff needed to grow shrooms online, it's relatively easy. You can buy LSD analogs online, just search their full chemical name, find reviews of the vendor

For novel tryptamines, it's even easier, just figure out the full chemical name and search that, for example figure out what the full name of something like 4-ho-met or whatever and search that, same deal about the vendors
>>
I'm not that high iq
>>
>>42976545
There are things like metocin that are somewhat similar to shrooms but can be easily ordered online. Xum is one popular brand. That company also has some other analogues of other compounds. I certainly don't know all the differences, but something you could look into.
>>
>>42960361
I'm to much of a tighty whitey loser to even know where to begin with acquiring them. Like do I just google where to buy them or something?
>>
I don't even have a plug. Even if I did, it would be a struggle to know if I'm buying the real thing or just buying tabs soaked in some other psychoactive 2ci type shit. Best I can do are those fucking one-up bars. The market is shit and I don't know anybody.
>>
>>42960361
I'm 90% sure that taking acid one time as a teenager and being dumb enough to smoke weed while on it (which caused a bad trip) created a broken layer or opening in my perception of reality (via brain damage from the bad drug experience) which has been causing entities to show me "synchronicities" to cause me mental distress. Like someone else on here put it they have to be on meds because their body's brain broke from doing dmt which made it "prone to demonic infections". I'm on ssris now and i noticed as soon as i got on them that the "frequency" of synchronicities and "signs" / messages I experienced decreased drastically. it still happens now though. i also tried to go off my ssris twice and immediately felt terrified by what someone on here said about how "soul mercenaries" in the astral can basically kidnap you and drag you to other dimensions if you commit suicide (because it would presumably put you in a "lower" vibrational state at your time of death, and they could sense it like sharks smelling blood in the ocean as the poster put it). it felt like i became more "open" to that when i was shortly not taking them. i also noticed very soon when i got on them that i noticed less "noise" in my mind, i would feel like when you're watching a quiet scene in a movie and it's noticable how there's a lack of sound or people talking. so i think drugs can break your brain and allow beings to become able to mess with your reality if you take them.
>>
>>42978807
Agreed but you could get shrooms if you really wanted to. Thats the only psychedelic I would trust because you can easily examine the mushroom and determine that its real.

Anyone tried one of those xum spirit vapes? I've never tried dmt, or anything similar, but it sounds interesting. Maybe more than I could handle, who knows.
