when i was 5 we moved to a new house. i didn't start school for the first few months so i would spend all day at home alone with mum. not long after we moved in she started to hear me talking to someone upstairs. i'd sometimes come down and ask, "is grandma coming down for dinner?" and i started asking about the old lady in mums bedroom. apparently i was very fond of this old woman laying on my mothers bed, and would spend hours upstairs talking to her. my mum thought it was just a childs imagination, but i kept going on about it. i described this lady as really old, with short curly red hair, and a walking stick. i even had a name for her, "Ginny".so a few months pass. my mother had made friends on the street and was visiting a new friend named Val. as they're talking, Val mentions that her mother used to live in our house a few years ago, before going into a carehome where she died. her mother was named Ginny. she had red hair and a walking stick. she was in her 90's when she passed.over the next 10 years multiple people saw things in my house that defy explanation. people were hurt in there, people were scared shitless. i lost friends over it. but me, personally, i felt like i had a guardian angel on my shoulder. my sister used to joke, "yeah she likes You! she doesn't bloody like anybody else though!".pic related is my actual childhood home. i'll share more stories if you're interested. i could write a book about that house.anyone else lived in a haunted house? was it good or bad?
Ain't no way.
>>42979429... a few years later...i came home with a friend one day, lee, who lived across the street from me. as we entered i told him to go upstairs while i checked for anyone home. i shouted mum/siblings, did a quick kitchen check, then followed him up stairs.i was probably 7 steps behind him on the staircase. he gets to the top, turns right, and freezes. he's staring at something and looks like he's about to cry. he looked scared shitless. suddenly he cries out, "WOOOEEERRRRGHHH", turns towards me, and leaps down the stairs. he slams into me, and we roll down the whole stairs and hit the bottom. he jumps up, crying hysterically, "WOOAAEEEAEUUURGH", and runs from my house in hysterics. as he's running across the road a car nearly hits him, which just happens to be his dad, who tells him to get in the house.later that day i called on him and was told to go away by his mum. next day i called again and lee came to the window. he said he wasn't allowed to be my friend anymore. his mum then answered the door and told me the following:when lee got to the top of the stairs he saw an old lady coming out of my mothers bedroom. she was walking towards him, which is why he ran. lee's mother suspected that it was my sister dressed as an old woman, and that she and i were playing a prank on lee. she said he didnt stop crying for hours. as she's telling me this he's crying at the window.he never spoke to me again. even at school. he just totally avoided me after that day. i was so angry at him that one day i offered to fight him. he looked sad and said he didnt want to fight me.
>>42979411good so far, more plz
had a poltergeist for the last 35 years ... still do> was it good or bad?somedays it's just a nuisance, somedays it might destroy something, you never what's next but always undesirablethe worst part is having no privacythere's no difference between a ghost and an NSA camera watching you fapmight as well fucking walk around naked in public
>>42979507last one i gotta go bedwe had a small bathroom upstairs that nobody ever used because it was dark and dirty and my brothers used to piss everywhere. at 2am however, when i was almost pissing myself, sometimes i'd use it. in 10 years i probably used that bathroom less than 10 times. because...every single time the same thing would happen. i'd be halfway through a piss looking back at the bathroom door when i'd start to see hands coming around the door frame. dozens of hands. it would start at just the fingers, then the knuckles, then the whole hand, then the wrist. the hands would be reaching towards me as im trying to piss. eventually i'd NOPE and run screaming back to bed.years later, my sister and i were talking about the house, when i mentioned the smelly bathroom upstairs. the first thing she said was... "OMG the hands!". she used to see them too. that's why only my brothers used that bathroom.
>>42979411>anyone else lived in a haunted house? was it good or bad?Yes, still live in it. The poltergeist is pretty chill. It does not like drunks though, so good thing I quit drinking. It will move things now and then, sometimes very heavy things. It seems like it's trying to help.
>>42979513It probably goes into another room when you fap. Honestly nothing has ever happened when I've jacked it.

>>42979472Your former friend sounds like a total pussy. You're better off without him.
bunp
I've read that ghosts are attracted to the smell of lemons.
>>42980200See if it will pay your student loans while it’s at it.
>>42984713That'd be awesome. That reminds me that I am fairly certain that is used my landline to call me a few times. It's always static on the other end, not some marketer. The marketer calls are always crystal clear. Isn't that funny?
>>42980204If I'm sitting in my room, doesn't matter if it's morning, noon or night, and even just whisper something to myself like "damn poltergeist" it gets offended and acts up again in the house. Times like those have proved it's spying on me 24/7. The idea that it's just gonna stop and float away cuz I pulled my BWC out, like out of respect for my privacy, is laughable. No fucking privacy for me. Ever. Fucking ghost. I might as well be naked in public when I have a dead stranger always watching me yank it and changing clothes,...taking a shit. GOD.
>>42985115If it makes you feel better, it might be a nature spirit, some kind of elemental as they're called. If it's that, then it has a limited intelligence and may be wholly reactionary towards strong feelings. Ever try ignoring it?
>>42985294Not a chance. It's a dead person.Understands english perfectly and rode in on a haunted doll my mom bought at a garage sale, the sort of doll that belonged to a kid or some crazy woman. One time I waited a whole year to redo a certain day that was ruined while I was playing one of my favorite songs because my rotten mom shut off my braker. I wasn't gonna play the song until the same day next year to..like...resume where I left off (I'm stubborn like that). Time came and I was alone in the house, but this time the poltergeist shut off my braker. It fucking remembered for a whole year and waited to spite me!No nature spirit does shit like that.
