This happened to me about 4 years ago (I don’t remember the exact date) on November 1st, right after a Halloween party at an aunt's house where I stayed over to celebrate and sleep. I was in a room where the bed was at the back of the small room, but with a TV right at the end of it, do you get what I mean? (Anyway, I'll attach a reference image).
I don't remember what time I woke up; all I saw was a plate on a dresser with a piece of meat and a knife to cut it—my aunt had left it there as my breakfast. I got up, went to get the plate, and through the dresser mirror, I saw in the reflection of another mirror (next to the bed) something small with arms and legs (the silhouette) run right under the bed. Honestly, I freaked out. I had never witnessed anything like that before; I was completely paralyzed in that moment because I literally saw it thanks to the reflection of the other mirror!! Then I decided to do something that I still don't know how I thought of doing, but it was to grab the knife and go after whatever that thing was.
Knife in hand, I bent down to lift the bedsheet that was covering the bed almost down to the floor (leaving only a small open space where that thing entered), and I pulled up the sheet all at once. It was completely packed with plastic mesh bags. The space under the bed didn't have any room at all for anything to get in, no matter how small it was (I estimate the creature was about 15 centimeters tall or a bit less). I immediately stood up and walked out of the room; honestly, I didn't want to step back in there after having that experience.

I don't remember the chronological order of these dreams, but the first one was something I relate to goblins because it was a running figure. I was walking up the stairs of my house, but when I turned right to reach the second floor, I saw a figure the size of a child, but completely black, cross from one side to the other. I couldn't move no matter how much I wanted to, and the screams I was making were just muffled gasps. I don't know how, but I knew it was a dream, so I leaned back as best as I could and let myself fall, because I knew one thing: committing suicide in dreams or hurting myself was the only way to wake up. I woke up covered in sweat, my heart racing, but I knew the dream (or nightmare) was over.
The next one was in a kind of house where my aunt was, with a second floor. But it was strange because on the second floor there was a sort of long slope that turned right to keep going down, but it was like a cave, you know? Because that space was gigantic and there was only the staircase. At the bottom where the floor was, I saw my uncle nearby, but there was something curious: a flowerpot with a goblin/elf in it. How did I know it was a goblin? Because of its size and because it had a humanoid face—a face like a child's, but fitted to its tiny face. Its hair was gray, and it looked a lot like a troll from the animated movie Trolls (it's worth noting that I've NEVER watched that movie or been interested in it for anything related to come up in my dream). Its hair was identical to the gray character from that movie (I'll attach the image); its hair went straight up and was long. Right after seeing it, I immediately turned around, climbed back up the steps as best as I could, and got out of there. I don't remember anything else.

You know what's curious? Once, while talking to my aunt, she was telling me about how when my cousin was little, she had to ward off witches because they wouldn't leave him alone. Plus, feathers would appear all over the house, lots of feathers (especially in my cousin's room), along with the fact that my cousin had had EXPERIENCES WITH GOBLINS/ELVES. Right away I knew it was no coincidence that this had happened to me at her house.
To add to this, when I was visiting a farm, I stayed overnight with some relatives and friends. We made a campfire and had a good time, but after that, I started talking to a guy around 18 years old who took care of the property. We started talking about paranormal stuff and he mentioned goblins/elves, how they create "portals" in small spaces or corners—in every corner, they create a portal to evade people, but they can also do it in enclosed spaces. Putting all this together, I came to the conclusion that what I saw really was a goblin. To this day, I haven't had any more paranormal experiences; I consider myself a skeptic when it comes to everything paranormal, but I genuinely can't explain what I saw that day.

I'd like to know what y'all think and if you've ever had similar experiences with goblins/elves, or what it could have been that I saw.

Thought maybe they made 2 or 3 threads fishing for goblin and fey stories, but I detect a bit of the fey charm around your typed words, indicating you’ve got a lingering presence of the thing.

Sounds like a quickling, there’s a fey road near thear. A knife and a mirror tho, if you just had a candle you’d have the ingredients to really start seeing some shit, Jack. Best to ignor these little things, didn’t hear it speak, no other witnesses, it was the wind, perhaps a smudge of dirt, a deforming teardrop in your eye, a speck of dust, perhaps it was nothing.. a grand hoax.
